This ball cuts very easy, i was very surprised at this . I have tried the prov1 and callaway red against this ball. the prov1 was 5yds further of the driver than the callaway. the strata was about 7 yds behind the prov1.The strata putted very nice, but this is the only thing what i liked about the ball.I am going to use the prov1 this season because it may be more expensive but it is a lot more durable, i have used the same prov1 ball for 3 rounds now and it is still in good condition. The strata had a cut in it after 5 holes and i didnt even have any off hits( this surprised me a lot)as i thought the strata would be more durable. I am very dissapointed i have been waiting to try this ball for ages but it just does not compare against the prov1. This ball is awesome. I have played the Strata Tour Pros for a while, while also playing Maxfli Revolutions and Titleist Professionals and the Pro V1. I bought this ball just to try it out and it is right up there with the Pro V1. The distance off the irons has been almost identical to the Pro V1, but the driver is 5-7 yards shorter, with a little less roll it seems. I know from reading the Pro V1 reviews, that a lot of golfers love the new distance, but not the feel around the green. The new Tour Ultimate has both! This ball is long and straight, but also backs up when I need it to. It checks just like the Strata Pro's around the green. The putter feel is soft and true. This ball has the advantages of the Pro V1, but also retains the feel and spin that the Pro V1 lost from the Titleist Professionals. Compared to the Pro V1, sacrifice some driver distance for exceptional iron distance, superior spin, green-side control and an unmatched feel with the putter. This is a wonderful ball. I agree with the previous reviewer when I ask, "Where's the cool little orange swirly logo?!?" If you like a soft ball, but want Pro V1 or Revolution 100 distance, play this ball! First round of the year, bought the balls on a lark. Nice ball! Distance off the driver is about the same as other balls. Off the irons, these are sweet. A little longer than the Precepts I have played for years. They settle on the green very soft. Even with a low hot trajectory, these balls sit right down. You can go for the pins. Great durability -- I played one ball the entire round, and it still looks new. They putt true! Nice golfballs. One question: Where is the neat little orange logo? All the adds show a little orange swirl logo above the number. The little sample ball that they cut in half has the logo. But no balls in the boxes have the logo. What gives???? The ball looks better with the logo. All in all, a great ball that I will continue to play. Customer Service None. The website could be better.... Similar Products Used: Precept EV Extra Spin |

Have been usuing the Strata Tour Professional for about a year, and love it. After trying these, I honestly cant tell the difference between the "old" and the "new". They do everthing I expect, particualry from 100 yards in and around the greens. At the price, however, I think I'll stick with the Professional for the time being. This ball is great it has a very high spin rate. This ball is very durable believe me, not someone who hit it on a cart path 1 day at par 3 course and crys about the ball when its their dam@ fault. It goes far and has the best feel you will find, also be surprised by the ball flight. Fair price too. Better than nike TA and close to the PRO v1 Similar Products Used: pro v1, nike tour accuracy, all others |

Not everyone will like the performance. I am one of those few. The only thing I can say is that I can't feel any difference from Top-Flite 2000 Super Ti. Spend the extra money for the Pro VI. Similar Products Used: Pro VI, Callaway Rule 35. |
