This newly revised model of the HP2 Tour has a unique feel. It has very thin soft cover over a solid hard core. If you have a partial wedge shot that just gets through the cover into the core, the ball makes a disturbing click. Outside of that, it plays pretty nice. I recently shot my personal best on a particular course using this ball, but I'm not sure about that hard click on 30-40 yard pitches.

Some may feel that what difference does it make to use a certain golf ball. But trust me there is a difference. In all Titleist makes the best golf balls out but the Titleist HP Tour to me is the most commonly used and has the best value for how good a ball it is.

Great Ball. I like the soft ball feel You get from this hard ball. Combined with its durability it is a great ball. Lacks a bit in spin into greens however. If you like a harder durable ball this is the one you want.

Great distance/feel combo. Yes, anytime you use a distance/feel combo ball you are going to get a little less distance than a pure distance ball and a little less feel than a wound balata ball--what did you expect? However, it's tough to beat the combination in this ball

Great ball. Magnificent distance and what feel. This ball holds greens well when struck and probably the longest ball I have ever played that will hold around the green. Definately worth a look for the scratch to the weekend player.

This ball is okay, but nothing special. It doesn't go particularly far and it doesn't spin really hard. I just don't see who would want to buy it, even if you only buy Titleists. If you are a low handicapper buy Professionals---they go farther, spin better, look better and are just as durable. If you aren't a low handicapper then buy Tour Distances and get much better distance and pretty good spin. No matter what you want to do there are better balls around.

I decided to try the new version of the HP2 Tour, which I rather liked. I am disappointed. The HP Tour is much harder. Feels more like a DT Distance and there is a LOUD click when struck. Backing up the ball on the green is next to impossible. I still feel Titleist produces the best golf balls (for me anyway) but I also think they missed the mark on this one.

I liked this ball. I hit it a long distance (I was surprised how far), with a good trajectory and it has a good feel. I did have a problem getting it to bite on the greens. I was looking for it to stop like a wound ball and could not get that effect. It putted very well. I think any Titleist wound ball stops better. While I probably won't play it again, I would rate it much higher than many other balls I have played. From other reports on it, it seems that many other persons do not have the green holding problem that I did. If I did not have that problem I would think it is a great ball. It is worth a try.

These balls are good soft balls with fairly average spin. They don't have "mega-bite" as the commercial states. I feel that this ball gives a nice soft feel and plays well off the tee, and fairly soft onto the greens. If you're looking for a hard and durable ball, then this is the wrong buy. However, if you're looking for a soft and fairly durable cover, this is the ball.

These balls have a great soft feel to the green and feel great off the tees. They are worth your money.
