I find it very funny to hear all of these people who are magically gaining 20 yards because of this ball. I wonder what these people were using before. There are plenty of balls out there that are extremely long. If you want long, try the Top Flite XL2000 extra long. But if you want an all-around great ball, try the pro v 1. I normally play the callaway balls, so I did not notice much change in distance. The feel is outstanding, and compareable to callaway and strata. The place where these balls shine is in short shots from 100yds in. With little half-wedge shots, these balls feel like butter. They pretty much stop where they land on the green. This ball is for better players only. If you are a high handicapper, and you insist on playing a titleist, try the pro distance sf. The price of this ball is a little high. About $40/dozen, but if there is a ball worth this price, this is it. Just do not expect to add 20 to 40 yards per drive. To do that, go see your PGA professional. Unlike all the other reviewers, I have not even hit the ball yet. But they sure look nice in the box, and they get me excited about playing golf, practicing, and improving this season. So they have done their job! Customer Service na Similar Products Used: maxfli, titleist |

I play collegiate golf and I cant wait to tee one of these up in our first tournament. This ball flies of the club face and the trajectory control is not comparable to any other ball I've hit. With less spin off the driver, the misses are not so off line and it really holds its flight in the wind. On approach shots it doesnt produce that much backspin, it just sits right where it hits. There should be a toss up for this and the Strata Ultimate for best product of the year. Great distance off the tee. I gained about 10 yards. Good spin rate. Wonderful feel off the putter. I have been a devoted Titleist ball user for over 14 years and of all the Titleist Balls I have used, this is perhaps the best one. I recommend this ball to any player who enjoys the feel of a softer ball and desires the extra distance of a harder ball. For $12 a sleeve at the pro shop, I had to give these a try. I played it side by side with my Top Flite XL 2000 Extra Longs -- the longest decent ball I've ever played. The Pro VI stayed with it yard for yard. On and around the greens it didn't quite match a Titleist Professional, but it was pretty close. This is the first "distance" ball I've played with good/great spin and feel. This is the current best-ball-money-can-buy. I think it redefines the Premium/Tour ball market, which is bad news for the current sell prices for the Titleist Pros, Callaways, and Maxfli Revolutions. A bit more control than with the Callaway firm, but a few less yards off the tee. The V1 is hands down the best ball I've ever played around the greens. As far as the people who proclaim this to be the "Second coming", please. It is definitely for the better player and unless you are threatening par on a consistant basis, there's no need to abandon your Top-Flites. They all play the same at the bottom of a lake. Customer Service always good Similar Products Used: Callaway Red, Revolution, Precept Tour Premium, Titleist Professional |

Tried out this ball after i was given one by a Pro at a recent event.(They are unavailable out here for another 2 months). To me the ball plays exactly like a Revolution and the cover appears and feels exactly like a Revolution.Including exactly the same durabilty, which is very good. The down side for me is that most courses in Sydney at this time of year have very HARD greens and you really get to see how much a ball really spins if you can stop balls on these types of greens. The greatest spinning ball i have played and continue to play in the Precept Tour Premium. The Tour Premium spins rings around the Pro V1.The down side is that it is nowhere near as durable, however we can buy the Precepts over here for about $25 US dollars so i know what i will continue to play. I have not found these balls to be as explosively long off the tee as other reviewers. I think they are only a bit longer than the Professionals I had been playing (which I thought was a pretty long ball though). Off the irons they do carry nicely, nearly a club longer than the Professionals were for me. I think this is due mainly to the more soaring ball flight, which despite the height, seems to holds its line well in the wind. Feels soft too. But what I like best about these is the spin rate. On soft greens, with full shots, the Professionals spun too much for me. The Pro V1 is just right! Also holds firm greens well, and spins very well on chip and pitch shots. Excellent ball and durable too, but a little overhyped. Can't say there is a huge difference between these and Revolutions or Precept Extra Spins. In fact they seem most like a Precept Extra Spin with a Titleist logo and a doubled price tag. Customer Service Excellent. Titleist is the best of the bunch Similar Products Used: Titleist Professional 100, Maxfli Revolutions, Precept Extra Spin and Tour Premium |

2 weeks ago I reported that I was testing this ball before putting it into play, a week of putting and chipping and a few holes here and there later I was confident to put it into tournament play. I was playing ator close to my handicap with the Professionals Customer Service Good, but I recently cracked my driver shaft , and they would not replace it Similar Products Used: Pro's |
