i have been using callaways red ball since it came out because of the extra distance i achieved with it. Previuos to this i always used titleist profesionals so i was very keen to try titleist new ball. After using this ball for three weeks now i have made it my permanent choice. It is only a bit longer of the driver but mid irons are now at least 10yds more so i am using less club. My golf course is in the north west of England in the Lake District so it can be very windy at times and this ball seems to hold its line better than any other ball. When it comes to round the green the ball is excellent . plenty of back spin when needed and more control. putting with this ball is excellent as well it gives a perfect roll every time. I played 3 rounds with the same ball and there wasnt a single mark on it. Callaways tend to scuff when hitting a hard wedge into a green i didnt get any of this from the prov1.I am now playing this ball all the time , i just hope i have enough to last me until they get over here in april????????. The BEST BALL I have ever played. I was never really able to sping the ball so I just aimed 10, 15 feet in front of the hole and expected it to roll. Now I use the Pro V1's and with the same swing, the ball bites. Even out of the thick rough, it's incredible. I first played the ball in December when a tour player offered it to me. He guarenteed that I would hit it further and stop. THIS IS THE JESUS of all other balls! TRY IT! OH MY SWEET GOD!!!! They've gone and made the (almost)perfect ball. They are long, they spin, they're soft around the greens. Hell, if they could only wash themselves they'd be fully perfect. I'll never play another ball as long as I live (unless I lose the one sleeve I've managed to get my grubby little hands on). Expensive as hell and worth every penny Similar Products Used: All kinds of balls |

this is by far one of the best balls i've ever hit. it feels good off the tee but at the same time gets very very good spin with the wedges. this is an unbelievably great allaround ball, but even though many say this is the best ball on the market right now,i still cant give up those old titleist professionals! great ball though. I got a dozen of these balls from the Titleist engineers. I often test out prototype clubs and equipment for Titleist. The irons Tiger Woods plays (the forged prototypes are outstanding by the way). This ball is outstanding. Fairly long off the driver. With the consistency I need with a wedge in hand. This ball is outstanding. The Dozen was outstanding!! Similar Products Used: None |

I was lucky to score a dozen from my buddy who Caddy's on tour... Awesome golfball, performs like a Strata (less driver spin= lower flight) but has the "unmistakeable click and feel" of a Titleist! pure all the way. I have a new favorite ball. I've always loved the Professional (and Tour Balata before that) feel, but because I have a rather steep angle of attack I spin it too much and drive it way too high (dispite 6.5/x driver) so I've been playing the Strata Tour Pro to help me lower the driver flight... I've been practicing putting with these for a couple of weeks. Have not switched them into play vs the Professionals yet, as I'm playing quite well with them. Wedge control is pretty fantasctic as well, you can play for the hole, not just somewhere around it. Similar Products Used: Pro's |
