Without question, this ball is long off the tee, but I'm not convinced that it's worth the hype. Has a tendency to "balloon" off the driver and the short irons, and the "Drop and Stop" can actually hurt you on the greens -- if you don't throw it up near the hole, you run the risk of spinning it back off the green with any club shorter than a 7-iron. Almost requires you to take an extra club to account for the higher ball flight. There's no doubt that it is significantly longer than most balls, but still feels soft at impact. Just not convinced that it's worth the money over a Revolution or one of the higher-end Stratas. Also noted that the cover on the Pro-V starts to chip after one or two rounds -- as opposed to a Rev or a Tour Distance, which you can't cut with a chainsaw. Do you really notice that much difference in feel, especially around the greens? If so, fine, go buy it. But I think most players are well-served to consider some of the other (cheaper) alternatives listed above. This is the biggest game improvement technology that I have seen in a long time. The Pro is as long or longer than anything I have played with, plus it has more bite that a caged cheetah. It also lasts for a few more holes than most soft covered balls. It is worth the money. Customer Service No Similar Products Used: Titleist Professional, Tour Prestige. This ball is definately longer off the tee, but I am not convinced that it is a great all around ball. 99% of all single digit handicappers are not as much concerned about distance as they are about perfomance, since the tee ball is the least important shot in the game. Here are the two negative observations I have. 1.) On the shots that are hit one groove low the ball is uncontrollable, a 90 yard sand wedge that is hit ever-so-slightly thin typically air-mails the green. With another good ball it flys 15-20 feet deep. 2.)Since this ball is designed to drop from the sky to promote "drop-n-stop" performance, I have noticed more bad lyes in green-side bunkers with it. I really like this ball. I have hit the longest shots I have ever hit with this thing and it has performed well around the greens. At first, I was concerned that it had too much spin for a mediocre golfer like I am, but having played quite a few rounds with it, it is above average in driver accuracy. I am not brilliant on approach shots, but I have had some long mid iron approach shots just settle onto the green and stay there. Not often, mind you, but enough to see what the ball will do in the right hands. I think better golfers will appreciate it more, but even high handicappers should like it a lot, too. If the last ounce of performance is not worth vast sums, to you, there are cheaper alternatives. Similar Products Used: None |

This ball is the best i've played. I used to play Tour Prestige, but after switching i've gained distance, and the feel is much better. The ball is spectacular around the green, especially with pitching. Putts very true also. Not as soft as some others out there, but still great feel. How can anyone say this ball is soft? Compared to Range balls from 1984, they probably are soft, but If you want soft, go play a Callaway Blue, a Nike TA/Precept Tour Premium, or a Maxfli Revolution, or a Strata ML Balata, or a Strata Tour Professional, or a Titleist Professional, or a Slazenger Players, or a Srixon Hi-Brid, or a Srixon Hi-Spin. This is not a "soft" ball... well, compared to other "soft" balls it's not. Similar Products Used: None |

This is a great ball if u can hit the ball over 220+, and if u like soft feel this is the ball for you. IT is also very duriable and can create spin if wanted. Similar Products Used: None |
