This ball is long, distance ball long. It come off the club with a high penetrating ball flight similar to a distance ball. It feels soft of the irons and launches at a high angle, however the ball stops mostly due to its angle of descent not spin. In fact on full shots its very difficult to back the ball up on even very soft greens. This ball is also very durable I can use the same ball for about 36 holes. Similar Products Used: None |

I have played this ball today. I shot 79 on a course that is just starting the season here in Québec... which means bad conditions in May!!! I gain easily 15 yards on my drive. A bit less with the irons. The ball stops quickly on the green. It is by far the best ball I have played. I am convinced to play this ball all season. It is too expensive but it is worth the try. I have but a few words about this ball. This ball is very good, it's long and has a very nice feel of any club. The problem; too expensive and totally overrated. Try playing the Nike Tour Accuracy (very long ball) or the Callaway Rule 35. Similar Products Used: Nike Tour Accuracy & Callaway Rule 35 |

ball reminds me of the professional but with less spin into the greens. slightly longer (10-20 yards) off the tee. not noticeably longer off irons but has higher trajectory with irons. definitely putts better than professional. has more of a feel of a hard ball (top flite strata maybe). I would definitely recommend using the ball to gain an upperhand on your weekend money hungry playing buddies. Similar Products Used: professional,, strata |

well this is the follow up, it is the best ball on the market. Now ive been reading it is a little harder to chip stop the ball compared to the balata and professional but way better than all the rest and it does stop dead on short irons and stops quickly on long irons hit a three iron 215 and it stopped around 10 yards or so, i think its the hight of the ball flight, now i only get 5 to 10 extra yards but im not a long hitter around 255. great ball play on. Having heard so much about the ball, I decided to fork out the $$$ and try them. Overall, I felt the ball has good length and easy to control into the greens. I found they will spin a bit on full short shots into the green. Similar Products Used: HP Tour, Calloway |

This is the best ball i have hit in a while. The feel is soft and adds yardage to my natural slice shot so that is goes the same distance as a straight shot. Feels like a practice swing when you hit it. The iron shots played great and stopped on the green. More GIR in one round then ever before. The putting was good but nothing spectacular. I have putted with better but definitely a world class ball. Similar Products Used: Orlimar Tri-metal tour, and Strata Professional Distance |

These are the most shmico balls, I have ever used, they have the durability of 12 antz, and spin like a horse. They have reasonably hard feel, but still wiz their guts out. They fly through the air like a dog and go miles. Best ball I have ever use. They are expensive as an ant, when he is the only ant left on earth, but they are worth it. As with all other balls manufactured to date, there are trade-offs in performance. This ball is long, has a great trajectory, and generally performs well on full shots. The ball is noticeably longer than the Tour Premium and Callaway Blue. The area where this ball fails is on less-than-full shots around the green. It is very difficult to control this ball on flop shots, lobs, chips, bump-and-runs, etc. If the greens are really hard, forget about stopping it. Put simply, the ball only stops when it runs out of steam; it does not stop due to any spin imparted by the ball-striker. There are multiple reviews in which the reviwer comments that the ball "stops on a dime," etc. What have these reviewers been playing with before they played the Pro V1? Gutta-percha? Granite? I simply don't agree with their assessment. The Tour Premium is simply the most controllable ball on the market, albeit not the longest. OVERHYPED! This ball did not live up the hype. I lost about 10 yards per club with this ball. The ball balloned on me and fell short of the green everytime. The only positive is that it is a good ball for putting. All balls are overpriced but I did expect this ball to be better than average. This ball reminds me of the Callaway Rule 35 Blue. If you decide to try it out, purchase one sleeve first. Similar Products Used: Callaway Rule 35, Strata Professional Tour, Nike Tour Accuracy, Pinnacle Gold LS and Top Flite 2000 series |
