I love it. The unique distance core means that my natural slice carries over 60 yards, the low trajectory helped me to skip through the fairway bunker, and the stop and drop meant that I banged up next to the flags. I shot 152 and lost only 7 balls, my best ever! My putting has improved immeasurably as well. I'm still not holing anything longer than a foot, but just seeing the TITLEIST name instead of "Stolen from Chiswick Driving Range" has left me brimming with confidence. Similar Products Used: None |

I regularly play with the Professional, and the ball is virtually the same, with a little added distance on the driver. They both stop well on the green and the putting is virtually the same. The ball that I was most impressed with for the price was the Strata Tour Ultimate, but that was on sunny day in Scottsdale, so may the thin air had something to do with the long drives. The Pro V1 is around the same price as the Proffesional, so I don't see that much of a difference between the two, if you want a little longer length off of the tee, then this is the ball for you. All the hype is just marketing, but it is a good ball, just not "godlike"! Similar Products Used: Titleist Professional, Maxfli Revolution, Strata Tour Ultimate |

This ball ballons way to much with the short irons, expect to go over the green and into the sand trap with these. If you want a better and cheaper ball get the strata tour professionals. The stratas spin more and are better around the greens and are $15.00 for 3 sleeves at target right now. |

I thought that I'd never switch from the Strata Professional, but these V1's blew me away. I need more distance like Nixon needed more tapes, but got it anyway - about 15 yards more with the driver. While I usually can spin back the Strata by 6 feet, the V1 spins back about 6 yards! Truly amazing! Low handicap players will have to adjust their games to fit the ball a bit, one club more on short irons to counteract the backspin, but one club less on the long irons as these balls go like a bat out of hell. I'm still not happy with the way the V1 performs around the green on chips and short pitch shots...too unpredictable and hard to control. You never know if it'll check up or not. Had to leave the flop shot in the bag. The Strata definitly excells in this area. But I expect the next generation of V1's will address this problem. Customer Service We work through the Titleist Thailand office. These guys are on the ball (no pun intended) and respond to the infrequent problem very quickly. Well JMJ from the Bay certainly shows his maturity. What are you a 3 year old. Your reviews certainly read at that way. My experience is that the Pro V1 is longer, although by how much is hard to say for sure. It does have a kind of drop and stop like performance although I think that is something that scratch players will be able to capitaile on. For Higher handicap players there is no need to spend the $$ on these because there are many good balls to choose from that will suit people that shoot in the 80's, 90's and up. I happen to like the Precept Tour Premium my self for all around performance it's a pretty nice ball. Only issue is with the cover durability/shearing, and I don't mind changing the ball I have in play once every 6-9 holes. If JMJ would actually read the review that the Honest Reality person wrote, he might notice that taht guy didn't choose it for himself he chose the Srixon High Spin instead. His response to JMJ's, umm ramblings, was clear, concise, and seems to be geniune and honest. I only wish we had more reviewers like that guy and fewer mental migets like JMJ. Folks, if you don't mind spending the $$$ and you generate a sufficent clubhead speed, generally hit the ball consistent and decent (yes even for an amatuer decent) then get a sleeve and try them out with an open mind. They may be the ball you have been looking for, or they may be not a big enough difference to justify the price to you. It's a very good all around ball, plenty long decent around the greens jsut not the "miracle cure" that some people want to believe that it could be. OH MR HONEST REALITY, Just what makes a ball go farther and spin more with such maticulous actions? This V-1 must be amazing. LET ALONE ITS A TITLEIST.. OHH.. You must work for Titleist. ANY BALL EXPLODES OFF THE FACE OF A TITANIUM DRIVER. And your conception of REALITY is cluttered with fascinations of playing BETTER ONE DAY. WAKE UP and smell the COFFEE. YOu'll never go platinum. I can probably beat you using COCONUT BALLS. So stop living fantasies, I reject your deposit. You're just another victim of the MARKETING SCHEME, SUCK IT UP and take it like a man. This ball is a great ball, but not worth all the money, nor the hype. It is a few yards longer off of the tee than my current ball choices(Strata Tour Ultimate, Callaway Rule 35 Blue). It is maybe 2 yards farther off of the irons, and spins more than the Callaway. I am a high ball hitter, and don't really need the spin. After all, I had bite on a 190 yards 4 iron on firm greens with my Callaway. Soft feel, but really, not worth the price. Similar Products Used: Strata Tour Ultimate |

JMJ-(Bay Area) For the sake of all of us who use this site and submit real and honest impressions of golf products,...Get a Life! Pro V1 does what is advertised, better palyers will be able to see the benefits more than the average players. Pro V1 is a very good all around performance ball without any real weakness ( except the Price). They are worth trying for anybody who shoots in the Mid 80's on down that generates good clubhead speed and stikes the ball decently. It won't be the prefect fit for everyone, bu it most certaily doesn't S*$K. as many of you Titleist Haters love to say. I have used the Pro v1, and found that for my game the best ball is the Srixon High Spin. It's affordable and has similar performance to the ProV1. My 2 Cents worth. These balls suck for the price. All the rumours and the gossip is FALSE. The PRO V1 is only a weak ATTEMPT by TITLEIST to monopolize the golfworld thru jealousy of the NIKE PRECISION ACCURACY TW. Everyone who buys into the motto "For Serious Players" have fallen victim of another MARKETING SCHEME. As we all know NIKE will soon have Tiger and David Duval using their IRON PROTOTYPES and I bet you all will jump the band wagon also...BECAUSE U ALL ARE CHASING A DREAM... A DREAM THAT U WERE NEVER REALLY GOOD AT ANY REAL PHYSICAL SPORTS.. BUT ANYHOW, I can make cheap balls go farther and spin more... YOU ALL JUST NEED THE CONFIDENCE to THINK YOU CAN .... I DONT.......
