I wasn't really impressed with the ball. In fact, I was very disappointed. They didn't provide any advantages at all. Distance and spin was much less than other comparably priced balls in the market. The Precept EV's performed much better (I equate the Precept as comparing "apples with apples"). I have been using Titleist Professional 90's which I dearly love as well as the Maxfli Revolutions and nothing compares to those (so far). I'm waiting for the new ProV1 next year. Customer Service Use them for my putter questions (refinishing) and they were quick to respond. Similar Products Used: Titleist Professional, Maxfli Revolution, Precept EV Extra Spin |

This is a decent ball with good feel. Distance falls about 10-15 yds. shorter than the old Tour Distance 90's. Fairways seem to be more of the norm though. (ball or player? don't know) The cover is my biggest disappointment, I can barely get in 9 holes before it looks like a tennis ball. With short irons I can hold the greens well, with long irons to the green....it keeps going and going and...(you know the rest). Similar Products Used: Tour Distance 90 & 100 |

This ball is horrible. If I wanted that feel, I'd play a hard ball from 20 years ago. The spin rate is so low that I bet you could read the number of the ball while it was in the air. Titleist whiffed on this one. Similar Products Used: Titleist Pro V1, Nike Tour Accuracy - Accuracy TW, Callaway Rule 35, CB1 |

I just wanted to say that all you people who hack on this ball that shoot anything over scratch golf, GIVE IT UP! Most of us who shoot 80 or 90+ can't really tell the distance in a ball. It's all in your freakin' head. I have to say I play this ball because I play nothing but Titleist equipment. I like to pay for Tiger's endorsements. Even though Tiger is now supposively using the Nike ball, I think it won't be long before he comes back to Titleist. For Tiger, the ball makes a difference. For the other 99.94%, GET REAL! Difference of opinion here. The ball gets off the driver like nobody's business. I hit the ball long so it plays to my advantage. The strata ball was too soft, no connection to the putter. It's like they say, drive for show, putt for dough! Slower swings should use the softer ball. Harder swings, whale away! Similar Products Used: Strata Pro Tour, Topflight spin, Nike |

Bought these as x-outs at Wal-Mart. Was very excited to try them, but came away very disappointed. They do go a long way, but not as long as the Max-Fli Patriot, and the Patriot, although it doesn't putt well doesn't check up when chipping, does hold greens rather well on fell shots. Worth a try if you like a distance ball, but definitely not worth the regular price. Customer Service Pretty good, website is great. Similar Products Used: Max-Fli Patriot, DDH 110 |

This ball is your classic compromise, an excercise in doing all things, but not doing any one thing the best. It gives good distance, but not as long as the longest. It gives good feel, but not as good as the best feel. It gives low side spin off the driver, but it is not the streightest ball on the market. It gives good iron spin, good enough to hold greens if played right, but not by any means the highest spin rate or green holding out there. Golf balls, as with any equipment, are a matter of preference. And to me, this ball does what it says it is supposed to do, help the average player, who like the ball, may not do one thing particularly better than another on the golf course on any given day. Personally, other than the price, I love this ball, but it is as opposed to your traditional distance ball (i.e. Strata Professional Distance, Top Flite XL-2000, etc). Ball has great soft feel for a distance ball. Surprisingly lots of spin and greenside control, however, i actually lost distance on my irons compared to the DT Distance and DT Spin. But I did break 80 for the first time with this ball :) |
