I just picked this up today at target clearance for 6.48 for 2 dozen. I saw this on sale for 12 earlier but heasitated to pick it up. Now that I read the reviews I believe I made a good choice.

Started using this ball last year when the supply of the Wilson T3's ran out. I enjoy the consistency and feel of this ball from tee to green. Distance - above average Acurracy - above average Ball fight - consistent - no balloon shots. Feel - above average Putting - very consistent After a year of play I can say it's a dependable & consistent ball for my game and you can't beat the price. I have converted my buddy to this ball, and it's definitely changed his game. His set up was to compensate for his consistent slice, which after a few rounds with this ball he had to change for his consistently straight ball. The worst he gets now is a slight fade and has improved his overall distances dramtically. Sticking with it. Great value!

Got a chance to play one on a windy day. I normally play the Strata Tour Ultimate 2 which is a great ball. The Straight Distance is every bit as long and definitely straighter. It has a penetrating ball flight and holds true to the line. The Strata spins more and is definitely more susceptible to side spin. At a buck a ball, the Wilson is a great buy. It's not going to spin, check, or putt as nicely as a performance ball, but at 1/3rd the price, it sure is hard to beat. Losing 2, or 3 on leave covered fairways isn't going to kill the wallet.

Well after reading all the reviews on this site and seeing how cheap these now are I bought a box. I was hoping to gain some distance on my drives and reduce my slice. I really didn't feel like either of those things happened with this ball. It is a good ball but didn't stand out to me in any way. Also, felt hard off the putter. Not a bad ball bug nothing special for my game.

Bought a box of 24 on recommendation from golfclubreview.com. First time out, gave a sleeve to my playing partner, to get his feedback on the ball, as well. We were both amazed at the increase in distance from our other ball (we both played Top-Flite 2000s)--by almost a club, for both of us. My playing partner questioned whether they were legal; I assured him they were. Have since played a dozen rounds with the ball (its still in my bag). Predictable and reliable ball flight. Straight. Slices to fades; hooks to draws. Everything but a bad shot stays in-play. Not easily "workable." Satisfying feel. Not especially soft on the putter; but not a rock, either. Tendency to run on pitches and chips; but remains manageable. I recommend this ball to high-handicaps (like my playing partner) as well as mid-handicaps. Especially good ball for those who already have high ball flight and a delicate short game, but are looking for a little more distance and reduced side-spin. At $1 a ball, they are a great value. They are worth a try.

This is definately one of the best balls for the money! It goes very straight and VERY far! The ball is a little on the harder side, but it has enough feel for pitching, chipping, and putting. The spin for a "straight" ball into the green is also pretty decent. It will usually stop within a few inches of the divot. The cover is durable too and for the price, it's a great deal!!

Based on the very positive reviews on this and Golf Club Review web sites, decided to give this ball a try. As others have commented, the ball is long and straight, perhaps the straightest that I have ever hit. Make no mistake, this is a distance ball and its "lively" performance may require that you re-calibrate your short game (chipping & putting). All things considered, this is the best distance ball around. The current 2-for-1 price, coupled with the excellent durability, make for incredible value. Highly recommended for those seeking more fairways and distance.

Wilson has made a mistake stopping production of this ball. This is top of the line for a distance ball, long and reduces side spin. Not bad near the green either, although definitely not a "spin" ball. For my money, I'll but them as long as they are available, especially at sale price of $27 for two dozen balls.
