I have raved about these balls for a while and now that they are very inexpensive others are catching on... Actually Wilson makes very good golfballs. I have made a point not to under estimate their position in the golfball segment. I gave a sleeve to a friend last summer and he shoot lights out! He said, "he found his swing". I said that Wilson straight distance helped you find the fairway!

I have played about five rounds with this ball. I read a review on the Golf Club Review website, which compared this ball to several other "distance" balls. This one was said to be the best in several categories. I tend to agree. It seems to be longer and straighter than others I have tried. It is comparable to Titleist NXT Distance and Precept Lady. Since I usually play a distance ball, the concepts of feel, spin, bite, etc. are sort of moot. This ball is as controllable as any other distance ball, and does not strike me as particularly hard. Besides, I think if we just work on our short game a little more, we won''''t have to blame bad chipping and putting on the ball. Bottom line: I like this ball and the two-for-one price is unbeatable.

My favorite non-premium ball out there. Depending on the golf course this is sometimes my favorite ball. This ball holds all records for distance of every non-rock ball there is. The ball carries a mile and rolls two. It feels soft enough that you can be comfortabel with it on approaches, stops pretty well on mid-iron shots and slightly better inside 100yds. The ball putts pretty well too for non-premium ball. Basically I can''t find a ball under $30.00 a dozen that touches this one.

Switched to this ball last October. This ball is long and straight! Great around greens too. I look forward to playing this the smartcore for the upcoming season. Would highly reccomend this ball and the price is fantastic (2 dozen for $25 - $28.00) Go to this site to check out extensive review http://www.golfclubreview.com/golf1.htm

cheap balls that fly well without a granite feel. they roll like a mutha. one bad thing is that they still slice... that means my swing still resembles a machete slash. they are fairly durable... i am known to hit trees, cart paths, drains, sprinklers, nets, fences, and tee blocks and i can make it thru a round with one or two of these.

I read a review of this balll at golfclubreview.com, and decided to buy a dozen. I have played around 12 rounds with this ball now, and I like it. The ball is longer (than XL-2000 I used to use), without sacrificing feel around the green. My approach shots tend to be quite high, so that may be a factor in the ball being able to hold the green. I can expect the ball to stop within a feet with my 8 iron down. Longer shots into the green do tend to run a little (depending on the softness of the green). As far as the straightness goes, of the driver, I have noticed the ball ending up on the fairway more often, though there could be a lot of reasons besides the ball contributing to that. Another good thing about his ball is that it actually lasts quite well, which combined with the current 2-for-1 offer makes this ball quite a bargain. I have never played more expensive balls so I don''t know where this ball fits in the hierachy of balls, but it works fine for me. I tried the new XL-3000 Straight Distance recently -a friend exchanged a sleve with me - and both of us decided to stick to our own balls.

I am a beginning golfer, unfortunate enough to have taken up this great game in my late forties ( as opposed to 13!!!). I was skeptical that any ball would improve my game that much. I was wrong. This ball gives me 10-15 yards more, and it is straight. Given the current pricing, this is a no brainer. Try this one!

A mid-handicappers dream. This ball reacted just like the ads said it would every time for about 3 months. I started using this ball as a 14 handicap and 3 months later i was an 8. This ball had to do with that. I am now a 6 and have stopped playing the ball. Not too great once u get into the 70''s. Perfect for someone looking to get from low-80''s into the high-70''s.

This is a great ball for the price - long, very long, putts nicely. The lack of spin makes it tough to work the ball, but if you are looking for longer and straighter shots, this is the ticket! The real bonus is that Wilson is selling them 2 for the price of 1!
