Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

Cleveland HiBORE Drivers

DESCRIPTION

Through the history of persimmon woods, drivers have always been round. As time progressed and technology advanced, they've grown bigger and are now made of a variety of metals, but for the most part, they've maintained the round shape. Up until now, form has dictated function... The HiBORE™ Driver has changed all that. For the first time, function is dictating form. HiBORE is truly the new shape of distance. The HiBORE is the ultimate high-launch / low-spin driver. Because of its unique crown geometry, the location of the Center of Gravity (CG)* is lower and deeper than ever before. Consequently, it produces drives that go farther and straighter from a larger portion of the clubface than any other driver in existence.

The hibore is by far the best driver i have ever used. i have the 9.5 (i need the 8.5 though) with the UST proforce v2 shaft stiff. i hit it farther and straighter than any other driver i have ever played. i can feel the heaviness in the clubhead swinging for me and the feel is amazing. i hit the 9.5 very high and i need an 8.5 now. with the distance i am allready getting, im sure i can increase 10-15 yards with a lower degree.

This was by far the best driver I've ever hit. It's long and straight. It is very forgiving on mis hits. It is also a little lighter than most drivers I've used in the past. The sound of it is just incredible.

I have been looking at the hibore since it first came out. Finally bought one and wish I had a long time ago. 10.5 with NV 65S it is straight and long. I have never hit anything that was as easy to hit where you want to I can fade draw or hit straght. I hope they come out with a 3 wood version. I really like the lower profile face

A friend of mine let me use his for a round of golf today and I shot the best round of golf in many a year.

This driver just went like a bat-out-of-_ell, went where I wanted it to go and was it loooooonnnnnnnngggggggggg!

My FT3 Fusion is being re-shafted, I will most likely just turn it around and trade it in for this club!

Value is low because it is so expensive, but this one seems to me you get what you pay for , on lets make it a 5 here too

Awesome Club! Cleveland simply makes great products. I had owned the 460 Launcher and was hitting @ 250 yards. I saw the HiBore at a local golf store and decided to give it a try....and WOW! My first shot with the stock Fujikara shaft rolled to the net (@ 300 yds). I thought it was a lucky shot and proceeded to hit 5 more and I was hitting it at leadt 290 yds each time. I immediately bought the club and have been hitting more birdies and pars since. I even got my first Eagle!

I admit it, I am an equipment junkie. For over 20 years and my golfing buddy and I have been trying to outdo each other with every new piece of technology out there.
The HiBore is the best Driver we have found. We won the Ping Pro-Am championship lastfall with this baby.
It is all about control. Hit it smoothly and it will keep you in play. Distance is there without a doubt. I normally play astiff shaft but found the stock Fuji regular shaft perfect. It is avery light club.

Never thought I would spend this kind of money on one club, but took the leap and have zero regrets! This is the real deal. The sound of the hit takes a little getting used to, but the result is a beautiful sight!! Any driver takes some time to adjust to. This is the driver that I will grow with. I have the 10.5 with the Garrafolly Blue stiff shaft. I always thought I was a regular, even senior shaft, but tried the stiff shaft. No more slice. The ball flies off the face. And my swing is only about 3/4 that of a normal full swing. The negative reviews of this club are quite strange to to say the least. They actually make no sense at all. Hitting it off the toe is the clubs fault??! The look freaks them out?! Please! The next review I write, I am sure I will say I hit in the 80's because of the improvement in my long game due to this club! Get the Garrafolloy shaft - NOT the Adila. The difference is HUGE!!!

Best Driver I have ever hit. I have tried many and had mixed results. I have carried an Adams GT-2 430cc in my bag for the last 2 yrs and have been happy with mild inconsistancy until I got the Hi-bore. With the Adams, 240 yards was common. With the Hi-bore 275 is easy with a smooth swing. You cant go after it with the club, however. Swing to hard and watch the banana's fly. Mine has the V2 stiff shaft, so it will absorb some muscle, but this game is not about how hard you swing, it is about being smooth. I normally shoot in the low to mid 90's and have been playing for 2 1/2 years and usually play 2 or 3 times a month. My first round with the Hi-bore, I broke 90 for the first time (88) on a tough course that I had never played before. This club made me feel confident that I could get far down the fairway and in shape for an easy wedge up to the green on the par 4's. Sorry Adam's, I still love the 3 wood, but the driver is going to Junior Golf.

Have not had to use, but I have friends who have sworn by Cleveland woods for years and they have not had to use it either.
