Been playing golf for about a year, probably about 10 rounds. Would normally fight against hitting a slice. Went to the training center in Long Beach, Ca. today to hit some balls and ended up demoing the Cobra, Cleveland Launcher, and Calaway all with stock stiff shafts. The salesperson also offered to measure the swing speed which turned-out to average 100 mph. The Cobra felt great from the first drive, consistant straight drives with little effort and easily 20 yards longer than any club I've tried to this point. The Cobra was easily the the best for me and was the most forgiving of the three. I was sold and then ending and played nine holes with my new Cobra. My buddies were amazed at the difference of my play. All drives were straight with the exception one slight fade that stayed still in play and one mis-hit on the last hole as I stated to get cocky. I'm very impressed and pleased that a change in club made such a difference. I've also hit my friends Taylor Made 360T and 420 Burner which of both I hit good, but not nearly as good as this Cobra. I shot a 46 for the nine today so I hope to join the 90's club soon. I could have gotten a better price from ebay but I wanted it today and also didn't mind paying extra because of the excellent service that was provided to me. Now, I only hope I can get some irons to produce the same type of results.

The club was backordered from TGW for about 4 weeks, but now I have played with it for 3 rounds and here is the result: This club is a major improvement compared to the Europe370/0.86COR-version. The clubhead feels more solid and the forgiveness is much better. The shaft from Graphite Design is superb. Very solid with a soft feeling. Maybe this driver is not as long as the SMT drivers but it's much easier to hit. In fact it's very easy to hit high powerful draw shots with a lot of roll. Just make a smooth swing and focus on solid contact, the club will do the rest of the job, it's almost effortless =)

Great driver! Why didn't cobra come out with this one first? Gives me great confidence and feel and hit them long and accurate, what else do you want? Didn't like the stock shaft - hit them left, so I reshafted with a Graffaloy Prolite R shaft. It made all the difference in the world. Try this club first so you don't have to waste your time.

Customer Service

In my opinion, took too long to respond to my particular product issue. But they did respond.

I've always been a fan of Cobras, but tried not to be biased when I first tried this driver. It spoke for itself. It is very light, letting me swing faster than I was before. I've had the driver for 2 weeks now, and have played about 7 rounds with it, and have made contact with the sweet spot every single swing. I've had a few slices, but it was nearly as bad as I used to slice it. The stiff shaft has helped cut down on the torque, straightening the ball flight. The 9 degree loft is a little too much for me, but even with a little too much air, I'm hitting the ball longer than anybody I've played with. It's a perfect size. The 427 is just too big. This is the perfect driver(for me).

I originally set out to find a 427, but when i went to the club that i caddie at the pro shop suggested that I try the 380 along with it. Though I did hit the 427 farther, I had a tendency to overswing the club and lose accuracy. This was one of the main reasons that i chose the 380. The other is the shaft which comes stock. Can't say enough about the Graphite Design YS 5.1 I used to have a 7.5 975J with a GD YS 7.1. Was an excellent combo when it was hit very hard and on the screws, which wasn't as often as it needed to be. Though i can't claim the twenty magical yards that some do i can say that the distance is a solid 5-10 yards farther, but accuracy is much improved

This driver is the most forgiving driver ever. I've pounded a few 427s at the golf shop and 2 of them started rattling inside. Apparently the 380 has a new kind of weld and have had NO problems with this driver. I had the TM 320 Ti, another great driver, but the KC gives me more of a straight shot and a lot more yardage. My swing speed is 112 regularly for accuracy, but when I have an open fairway, I do 122+ the stock shaft starts to torque causing an ALMOST liveable slice. Might have to change that if I ever want to really crank it. The sound of the driver when you pound it at the SS is pretty brutal... but it's better that you're doing it rather then you listening to it. Very intimidating. The loft is higher then it reads, probably cuz the path is so long it keeps going up. My 9 degree matches the TM 320 9.5 degree. Wish there was an 8 degree to try. Reading reviews, the only complaints were that the paths aren't shapable, meaning if you want to fade or draw a little, you'd probably want a cleveland launcher. For a rookie golfer like me who just wants to hit straight, give this a try, and cover your ears. One more thing, my dad has the 427, and though the SS and the head size is huge, it gives you the sense of "just hit it, i can't miss" where i'd like an actual focus point. The best of both worlds between the 310 and 427, and half the price of an R580 or GBB.

Customer Service

Not needed. As I said a few 427s started rattling after a few good hits, but no problems with the 380.

I wanted to buy a new driver and was set to purchase the TM 540 when someone suggested I try the Cobra 380. The demo was a 10.5 regular and I was amazed with this club from the first hit. My drives went further and straighter however some shots went to the right. After reading on this board and in a magazine I decided to try a 9 degree loft. The only demo available was in a stiff. I wasn't expecting too much however this club was very straight. After one and a half rounds only one drive was in the woods! The 380 has given me my longest drives on 9 different holes at my club. If buying a driver you owe it to yourself to try the 380. My swing speed is moderate to slow (but smooth) as I have a bad back. The head is light and easy to get around.
