Thanks to the introduction of the 975J I now have been able to purchase the 975D (Price thing). What a club! Before I even hit it, I cut the shaft to 44" and put a better grip on it. Played my first round yesterday and hit all but one fairway. The only reason I wasn't perfect on hit fairways was because I am not yet familiar with the length this club is capable of. It is long and straight. The ball launches off the club head. I haven't seen the problem with forgiveness. To me this club is very forgiving. Now all I have to do is wait 4 days for the Dynamic Gold shaft to be installed. Similar Products Used: Callaway Steelhead, Hawkeye |

Fantastic! I love the heavy clubhead it keeps your swing intact so that nothing jumps out on the downswing. Hitting the sweet spot is pure gold and off center hits are not that bad distance wise. Club tells you immediately if you hit it right. Of all the drivers I have tried (too many) this has the most best feel at address and during the swing. Highly recommend to anyone under 18 handicap. Customer Service A bit slow. Similar Products Used: Hawkeye/Hawkeye VFT, TM360, Ping |

Just getting back into the game. The 975d has worked great for me. I definately recommend spending A LOT of time trying different shaft and loft combos (tried R and S versions of the Grafalloy 35+,UST65,EI70 and Titleist UL). Pretty good advice offered in other reviews to note that the shaft will play stiffer in this model. My EI70 regular plays more like a firm and is well matched to my swing with the 8.5 loft. Great ball flight and roll! More forgiving than I would have anticipated from a "serious game" club. The 975J would probably suit my level of game better but it costs too much now and I prefer traditional looking clubs over jumbo super size heads. Bottom line, 975D worked better for me in providing balance of distance and accuracy than the other models I tried and was reasonable price. VERY HAPPY! Customer Service none needed yet. Titleist web page has info on the various shaft available that may help in selection. Similar Products Used: TM 320, TM360, Mizuno Forged, etc. |

i love this club. not only is it long and straight, but it makes the most beautiful sound... very unlike some of the other titanium clubs around. also, i love the balance of the club. you can feel the clubhead throughout the whole swing. w/ my hawkeye, it was sooo light that i would not be able to feel the clubhead, and i would make wild swings. not w/ the 975D. tiger uses this w/ a steel shaft. 'nuff said! Similar Products Used: PING I/3, Callaway Hawkeye, Steelhead Plus |

The best feel since the Ping Eye 2 laminated driver (only longer). It reconciled me with the all driver experience. Move over hawkeye! Customer Service no experience yet Similar Products Used: All of them |

Traded my Ping Tisi for this. I have taken several strikes off my game. With the 975D I consistently reach the fairways and keep the ball in play. I play a 10.5 degree with a TGW 80 tour grade shaft by Aldila. I would recommend the 975D to anyone who is looking for a true driver. Customer Service No problems yet, however, I had lots of problems with Callaway drivers. EX: The face on my steelhead caved in, Biggest Big Bertha cracked open on the sole, and the head of my hawkeye bulged. I had this club for 1 year now, originally ihad the 9 deg with the ei70 shaft,i was erratic with this shaft.Idont know if it was because of the longer shaft or the graphite.I put a 44inch dynamic gold steel shaft on it.Ihave alot more control with this shaft. The 975d was the best driver i tried, and i tried all the big names ping, callaway, mizuno, taylor etc. When you swing the 975d you can really feel the club head at all times. Most of the other brands you cant. Firstly, I have had this driver for awhile now with the stock shaft. I was hitting it pretty solid and pretty accurate. Recently, I got rid of the stock shaft and fitted it with a UST Proforce 65 shaft. The difference in performance between the two shafts is PHENOMENAL. It is like I have a totally new driver. Drives are going longer and more accurate. The Titleist 975D clubhead has the best cosmetics and feel of all other drivers in the market at the moment. Believe me, Ive tried them all. To complement this, I also use Titleist 975F fairway woods (3 & 5wood). All I can say is that TITLEIST ROCKS!!!!! Customer Service Titleist Customer Service in UK is top notch!! highly recommended!
