By far the best driver I've ever had. The club has a great feel for an oversized model. Can work the ball with this club much better than with the Callaway's and Taylor Made's I've owned in the past. I can actually hit something other than a draw with this club. I beleive that the Grafalloy shaft is the closest to having the "steel feel" of any composite shaft. This is the only non steel shafted club I have in my bag. The ball explodes off the club face with boring trajectory. A more forgiving club than I expected. This particular model (shaft and loft combination) does not work with slower swing speeds, my playing partners don't care for it because of it. The gentleman that I bought it from was selling it because he could not get the ball in the air with it. This paritcular club was made for a higher swing speed. For the price I paid for this club I now realize what a deal I got!

This is a very solid feeling club. The trajectory is satisfactory, I have never had a shot balloon on me with this club. Forgiveness is moderate, it is not a game improvement club, but I do feel like it's easier to hit than you might expect. I do not find that it is any longer than say a Callaway Hawkeye or other competing products. I found that I can hit the Hawkeye straighter so that's the club in my bag now.

I purchased the Taylor-Made 320 Ti when it came out at the end of last year and played well with it for about a month. I liked it when I bought it, then on a whim I tried the Titleist 975-D at the driving range one day. I was amazed at the power of this club. I had never had the guts to try one before because I had read (on this site, among other places) that it was not forgiving at all and very difficult to hit straight. That could not be further from the truth. This club is outstanding. The driver has never been the best club in my bag because I had a tendency to slice and pop things up too much. It was either 240 down the middle or 200 in the woods. With the 320, I did less of the woods stuff. But with the 975-D, I am rarely anywhere but in the middle of the fairway, 240-260 yards (depending on how aggressively I go after it), and the other day I was 50 yards from the green on a 338-yard par-4 (with a wind behind me, of course, but it was still crushed). This club is forgiving in that you can miss on the heel a little bit and it still goes a mile. This is an excellent club. If the guy who rated this a "one" knew how to make a good swing, I can't believe he'd give this club anything but a "five."

This is an outstanding club !!! Based on the press I've seen here I was a little (OK, alot) intimidated by this club. I've never hit more moderately lofted drivers well, and laughed at the pro who recommended the 975D in 9.5 deg. I'd already tried new Callaways and Pings and things weren't going well. I connected well with my first tentative swing and things kept getting better. Probably a fluke, so I checked out a demo to take to the range. Wow, I was actually hitting straight shots and little draws about 9 out of 10 swings. Good contact = 270+ yds; Slightly off center = 240-255yds straight, Bad shots = high fade (not a slice !) 225-235yds and still in play. I love this club! I was unable to resist and against better financial judgement I purchased a 9.5 with EI-70. Maybe this isn't the club for every higher handicapper, but it was for this one! Definitely try one before you assume its too much of a player's club for those of us who are more familiar with the wooded sections of our favorite courses than the fairways.

You better have game if your going to buy this driver. I play 3 times a week and I can't count the times I have played with guys that have NO business with this driver. Unless your single digit -- STAY AWAY. I have Hawkeye and it it longer, straighter, higher, and in the sweet spot WAY more. I hit a 10' degree Hawkeye 250 yards and I could not hit this club 220 --- YUCK!

This club is amazing it gives you incredible feel and control. It also has a mid to low trajectory. It is also extremely long. Just make sure you get a good shaft on it.

WOW!!! I bought this club a bit after Christmas and took it to a heated driving range and I hit the ball further and straighter than any other driver Ive ever hit. Im a 14 year old and I have an 11 handicap and I have 105 mph swing speed. The Grafalloy shaft is great and doesnt have as much torque as the stock one does so it controlls the ball flight a lot better. Its 1000 X better than my Sleethead plus with a stock shaft in it. I hit the ball much better now. It is the best driver on the market. I dont know y other people are saying that it's not forgiving because its probably the most forgiving Ive tried. The feel is great and the whole package is the best on the market...GO OUT AND BUT YOURSELF ONE OF THESE DRIVERS!!!!

Customer Service

it sits very sqaure and sends the ball of at a low trajetory but still carries an impressive 230yds for a 12yr old and has a good amount of roll on it.I would rate it as 4 and a half for quality.

i bought this slightly used and so far i am impressed with its distance potential and also its accuracy. it does seem to feel a bit soft or dull at contact compared to orlimar but i cant argue with the results. a fine club
