I got this driver by accident. My friend gave it to me because the shaft broke and he didn't want to replace it. I got a Harrison Pro shaft in it with 3.5 torque. Very unforgiving and in accurate. Somedays it behaves and others it doesn't. I am one of the best juniour golfs in KC. I have a 6 handicap, and with some of my best swings, I can't hit this club. However, it does have its occasional glimpses of brilliance. But overall, it is not a weekend-golfer's best friend. Similar Products Used: I have tried the 975 F by Titleist |

I purchased this club about two months ago the best driver I have hit, 20 - 30 yards longer than my Warbird. It is long and acurate. It is not difficult to hit as I had read. The ball comes off the head smooth and long. I love it and would recomend this club. Similar Products Used: Warbird, Ping, Hawkeye |

975D 8.5*
Having heard a lot of good things about this club, I recently tried one for nine holes. I was impressed. Next, I went to my local golf store and hit it, and several others in the cage. Again, I was impressed with the 975D. I went ahead and purchased one and have now played several rounds with it. Honestly, I didn't realize that the equipment used could make such a difference. I had been using a Great Big Bertha 9.5* regular graphite shaft. The shaft on my 975 is the Graffaloy stiff. The club is unbelievable. Accurate, long (really long), a pleasure to swing. Can't recommend it highly enough. Similar Products Used: Callaeay, Ping |

I have to admit that I was afraid of this driver because I had heard that it was not very forgiving. (Not to mention that the price is scary!) But...the best player of my foursome bought one and absolutely crushed the ball. I hit it a few times on the course and hated it. I told him I'd keep my GBB titanium. Then he let me borrow it for a week. I took it to the range and worked with it. Then I played a round with it. Wow! Is this club deep. Suprisingly, it is very forgiving. I hit it much straighter than the GBB. I bought one the very next week! The club has a very solid feel to it--you know when you've hit it on the screws and when you haven't. The only warning I'll give is that you'll have to work with it. If you do, it's longer than any club out there. Similar Products Used: King Cobra Gravity Back, GGB Hawkeye, Callaway Steel Head Plus |

Why do so many people like this driver, just because Tiger plays it. Common' this driver is not that good. Feel wise its horrible, feels like i hit a rock. The Mizuno Forged or the Ping ISI are much better in that department. And they both flew 10-15 yards longer for me. I just don't see it. Its a good driver, but not anywhere near the top of the line. Want a real driver, buy the Mizuno or Ping, want one Tiger plays, play the 975D, because thats about the only perk of owning it Similar Products Used: Mizuno Forged Titanium Driver, Ping ISI Titanium, Orlimar plus titanium (horrible), and others.... |

The first time I hit this club I was not impressed. The club felt dead at impact vs. the Callaway Hawk Eye I was used to. However after 2 practice rounds and some time on the range I can honestly say there is nothing else that can compare. Incredibly solid and mis-hits do not seem to find trouble. Very long and for someone who draws the ball it does not hook as easily as the Hawk Eye. It also promotes a flatter ball flight without the baloon effect. Customer Service Custom Fitted for 981 Irons with Rifle Shaft and Vokey wedges with Rifle Shafts. Great service and quick delivery. I have tried many drivers currently flooding the market and the Titleist 975D is a superior product. The current problem with the majority of drivers on the market currently is that they focus on distance at the detriment of accuracy. This driver has the heavier select shaft and has a tight dispersion coupled with excellent distance. WOW! What a club! I bought it Sat. and used it every chance I could in a tournament on Sun. Out drove, with precision, my whole group all day. This club is long, and accurate. An hour after I bought it I was on the driving range picking out spots to land the ball. I was grinning and chuckling so much folks would walk over to find out why....until they saw me hit this club. Then they knew why. I traded in a Calloway Steelhead Plus that never even came close to this work of art! Do not let the talk of a small sweet spot scare you away from this driver. My worst contact stayed in the fairway. A long way from the tee to boot. Thanks, Titleist! Similar Products Used: Calloway Steelhead Plus, Taylormade, Mizuno |

this is the longest, most accurate driver i have ever hit. if you are an average to advanced golfer i promise you will love this. callaway and taylor made dont even compare. Customer Service the first time i hit this driver i hated it, but i went to the range and took a few practice swings with my 7 iron and worked on strengthening my grip, then tryed it and the shots i hit were unbelievable. the were long and down the middle of the fairway. i tried taylor made firesole, callaway hawkeye and steelhead plus, and ping isiTI and nothing compares to the 975D. Similar Products Used: its not similar to any other club i have played. this is in a league of its own. |

The secret to winning with this club (as with them all) is in the choice of shaft. I just got one of these with a Grafalloy Prolite shaft and it is without doubt the best driver I own. Similar Products Used: Ping, Taylormade 320, Callaway Hawkeye |
