The perfect fairway wood.If thier is a such thing out there. Sooo easy to hit and shape your shot. They are also very accurate. The first time I hit it I tried a fade than a draw and variations of each, both with great results. I take it of the tee and of the short and long grass with the same great results. I got the 14* to replace my driver and other 3wd. I am relly satisfied with the Ping i3 woods, and I plan to purchse another on of the fairway clubs.

Customer Service

Ping is great. They are very helpful with any questions you may have.

Yes, I would first like praise and thank PING for their continued success in developing the greatest clubs in the world! I just love my new i3 driver! I also got a chance to play with the TiSi but this new i3 which PING recently came out with is truly remarkable. I mean the feel of these clubs are just sooo good. You feel one with this club. The club seems to just mold into your hands and it feels right! I'm used to hitting around 220 yards with Callaways, and Titleists but with the PINGS I hit an extra 30 or so yards. Don't take my word for it. I urge you to try these clubs for yourself at a local golf shop. I know that you will agree. This freakin club rules yo!

This might be the best 3 wood i have ever hit. I had always been a calaway guy and almost bought a hawkeye 3 wood instead of this i3. I am glad i got the i3 wood cause it is the nicest fairway wood i have ever had the pleasure of using/owning. You really have to hit this club to fully appreciate it. It is really long, super easy to hit perfectly, and very fogiving on those not so perfect swings. Even though the face is steel, i still hit it as far as a titanium faced hawkeye. With this club, i will be getting on in 2 on most par 5's. Also, this club is very workable. For the price, this club is unbeatable. It feels really solid on good shots, and gives you great feedback on those not so great shots. The graphite shaft it comes with is good, but with a ust shaft, this fairway wood would be unstoppable.

This is easily the best 3wood I've ever played. It's long and easy to hit. I've never been a "Ping guy", but WOW is this thing nice! I also like the lack of "draw bias" which so many mfg's build in. Easy to cut, draw or knock down. A great substitute driver as well! I'm also surprised at how good the stock graphite shaft is(Aldila). This club puts my Orlimar TriMetal Plus 14degree to shame!

After purchasing the driver I tested and bought the fairway and loved it with the Proforce 65 shaft. This club is very long and has a great trajectory and feel . Excellent off the tee as well as the fairway.

Model Reviewed: PING i3 Fairway Wood 17-degree Steel Shaft Stiff

Although I’m a huge fan of the TiSI driver and other PING products, I found the steel i3 fairway woods to be only average. I demo-ed the 17-degree steel shaft (JZ stiff). The quality of the club is excellent (like all PING products), and the distance is consistent. But the club isn’t terribly long or particularly forgiving. In other words, it’s not a miniature version of the TiSI. Net, net I think there are better choices – like the Cleveland QuadPros or the original Callaway Steelheads.

These woods are the best thing to hit the market in a while. The clubs look like the Ping ISI driver but are much sleeker and are able to get the ball in the air quicker. A long club with a fairly boring ball flight and easy to control.

Ping custom fitting is one of a kind.

Simply put, this club is outstanding! Mine is the 14* and has the JZ X-stiff steel shaft and this one put my Titleist PTs in the closet. The trajectory is excellent and am able to hit any shot possible. Great solid feel and dependable distance with the steel shafts. I can imagine this feels awfully sweet with the graphite, but my game calls for steel. Mine is a standard setup and find a beautiful medium-height draw the norm with NO ballooning. Ping made a believer of me with their ISI Titanium driver, and have continued the effort with these fine fairway woods.

Model Reviewed: i3 fairway wood 14 degree

I have been waiting for this club for a while now. I ended up getting a 14 degree i3 (stainless head) with a steel shaft. I chose the steel shaft so that it would best match my irons. I have a custom shaft in my TiSi driver, and really didnt want to spend too much money on the 3 wood.
Well, as I expected, I love the club and am perfectly happy with my choice. The ball jumps off the club and the trajectory is perfect. Its plenty long and quite forgiving too. I really love the look of the club at address too. It just sits there and begs to be hit!!! Dont be taken in by the other companies "claims" of super metals and such, just go with the Ping and you wont be sorry. Ping clubs are pure and simply the best.

These are the best new fairway woods since Callaway's S2H2 came out! I consistently hit these woods solid and long. The look at address is beautiful...they are small, black, and attractive to the eye. I love 'em! The only complaint that I have is that I hooked 'em a little too much...no problem because PING has an offshoot company called PING WRX that will put any shaft in any frequency/swingweight/clubweight that you want. When I get mine with a Grafalloy Prolite...look out!

Customer Service

Anyone who has ever dealt with PING knows how good they are. They are no Callaway, but they will handle all customer service issues promptly and without hassle. Check out the website at www.pinggolf.com. The best in the biz.
