These are the best irons I've ever played. Shots come off solid off of the face of the club. The weight is in all of the right places. I wish I had found these earlier. Similar Products Used: None |

For a golfer who loves the tradition of the game but doesn't want to give up the advantages of game improvement clubs, there is no better choice than the 845s. Traditional look, better feel than expected in its category, and consistent, solid performance. Lower priced than many newer models, but just as playable. Similar Products Used: None |

Now I've just begun playing with these clubs. They are about 10 years old and were my dads old irons. I can't believed that he would switch away from these. They have great feel and look classic. I love the 2 and 3 irons because they are just so easy to hit. These clubs get the ball up with ease and don't vibrate when you hit a bad shot. These clubs are a BEST BUY. Huge step-up from the 845 silverscots. Heads a barely bigger than originals but, the feel is tremendous. Mis-hits don't shatter your hand like the old SS. and slices and hooks aren't exagerated like the older SS. Great irons! Similar Products Used: 845 Silver Scots |

I had a friend by these clubs in 1992 back when we were "poor". When I finally had the money last year to buy any set of clubs I wanted, I included the 845s due to the fond memories. When I hit them along with several other clubs of much greater price tags I was once again amazed that this club design is so timeless. I've had these clubs since '89 or '90; anyway it's been a while. Thought about getting a new set then realized that I don't have the time it would take to consistently shoot any lower than I do now. Sure every now and then I get that dream round but then again don't we all. I've been playing golf for right around ten yrs and I've had these just as long. I've read some of these reviews and some I can't understand. These clubs are well designed very forgiving and for that matter you can't beat the price. My understanding is that you can no longer buy the set I have, but the other 845s I'm sure are just as good. Now I'm not dumb enough to give the overall rating the highest because I know that there are better clubs out there. To me the definition of value is what you get for your money; that's why I give it the highest. Similar Products Used: None, had them since I started playing golf. |

I bought these clubs with high expectations and have been a little disappointed. I wouldn't say they're awful, but certainly not what I had expected. I don't like the feel and they're not very forgiving. Only got these a year ago and I'm already in the market for new irons. |
