I been playing with KC IIs, and I was very inconsistent (hitting the ball high and short). With these clubs I have kept the same ball flight while adding much more distance. In my opinion you can't get a better club for the money. I was waiting for Tommy Armour to put these clubs back on the market.

I have been playing golf for about six years now and these are my first "pro line" clubs. I believe these may be the best irons out there. I have tried about every club out there for under $1000 and these sticks take the cake. Great feel, great spin, overall...just great clubs. And the price!!! I bought 2-PW with steel shafts for $350. About the only thing I don't like about these clubs is the look, they aren't the prettiest clubs out there, but when you are playing well with them, you tend to forget about the looks. The day I bought them I had my best 9-hole round of 38. These are keepers.

Armour is great...haven't had to deal with them yet!

What a golf club! I have great feel with these clubs, and the graphite shafts are a wonderful compliment to the oversized heads. Teardrop, which manufactures both Ram AND Tommy Armour, make EXCELLENT Clubs! I have NO trouble working the ball with these irons. Fade or draw, these irons deliver consistent performance, with great feel! They are indeed perfect companions to my Callaway Big Bertha Warbird Woods. These irons have added another 5 -6 yards to my iron play, and my USGA handicap Index has dropped to 3.5. I am very pleased! Expensive yes! Worth EVERY Nickle! Who should/could play these irons? Players of all levels!

These are the in the top 5% of clubs ever made. They are traditional, and perfect for all levels. When I finally put down the high-tech clubs and gave these an honest try, I took my game from the 90s to the 70s within a year (and a lot of practice). They are no frills sticks and will help you by just being honest. When you hit em good, you really know it, and when you hit em bad they salvage a shot.

Model Reviewed: Armour 845 EVO v-25 forged

Phenomonal clubs! The combination of forged blades (great feel) with a cavity back (forgiveness) is unbelievable. Many other clubs have made this claim, but they were mostly cavity backs with little or no feel. The v-25s are as close to true baldes as you can get, with the benefit of perimeter wieghting. Shot shape, trajectory, distance control are all there -- and when you hit them pure you know why you play the silly game in the first place!

Bought set when first came out and can't say enough good things about them. Distance, Control, Playablity, all superior to everything. Wore my set out and had to retire them, got the 845 oversize, and while there also a great club.... I still miss my original 845's. Best value for any golfer, they will make you better. If your an average golfer who wants to get better, these clubs are for you.

A few months ago i was in the market for a new set of irons when a friend suggested the silverscots. I was skeptical, but gave them a chance anyway. Trying them out, I couldnt hit a bad shot. They set up very nice, and the wedges are great. For the price they are one of the best sets around

I demoed a set of these and I thought they were great. I am going to buy them soon!! Look good, feel good, solid. The best compliment I can give is to say that I went to my local driving range and hit all the top manufacturers clubs and this one performed the best.

I forgot my clubs the other day and had to share my partners new 845s. It was an excellent experience. I normally use Ping eye 2s and I found I could hit 1 1/2 less club with these and still get the same control. I guess now I have to go buy some...

I have played my 845s for about a year and a half and have been happy with the clubs. I have been a serious golfer for a little less than two years and these were my first decent clubs. Although I like my 845s, I recently decided to upgrade to the new Ping i3 O-Size clubs. The Pings are actually quite similar to the 845s in design and look, but the Pings have a larger sweet spot and I am able to control ball spin more easily with the Pings. On a cost basis the 845s are one of the best club deals around.

I have also tried the Callaway X-12s and Pro Offset X-12s. Although very forgiving clubs, I had a hard time feeling what my club head was doing with these clubs.
