Shoped around for a couple of months and decided to buy these clubs after reading reviews hare and other sites.I did not know I could hit a golf ball like this! The short irons are high and straight(I used to hit alot of thin shots). But what really impressed me is the long irons. The 3 and 4 irons the easiest I`ve hit with. Both going over 200 yds.BUY THESE CLUBS YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

I've played several sets of irons, from Orlimars to Titelists to clones. Because of the value on ebay and the reviews here, I ordered the 845s swing-unseen. I was in the market for a good set of clubs that weren't quite so game-improving. I felt that my swing had gotten sloppy due to the immense oversize of the Calloway VFT clones I was playing. The 845s showed up. First, the appearance: This is one classy looking set of clubs. One is proud to have them in the bag. At address they set up easily, look perfect at address and (despite the "undersized" head) exhude confidence over the ball. Feel: These irons are balanced perfectly. They feel silky when holding and swinging them. This is the 1st time I've felt what a true set of irons should feel like. (My oversized clubs feel like I was trying to play golf with boat paddles. If anyone's interested, they're for sale. :) Contact with the ball is lush; offcenter hits let you know, but not much is lost in distance and direction seems to be uneffected. (Distance, by the way seems to be on par with anything else I swing.) My swing is back to what it should have been. The 845s are forgiving, but there is enough feedback to let you know when you're off. They're heavy enough to inform you where they are in your swing, but not so heavy as to dictate your swing. My rounds are getting lower, my fiends are getting jealous and I'm having fun on the course again. I can only say that (a) there is a reason that this club is still produces, bought and played long after any other model was discontinued. (b) There is also a reason why so many companies out there have tried to clone this one. But why buy the imitations when you can have the REAL THING for less than $150! The old adage that you can't buy a swing is true. But my swing isn't the same with these weapons! You have to practice to score, but what you practice and play with WILL dictate how you score. Buy these clubs!!!

Played for over 2 years but never took golf to serious. Started taking lessons a couple of months ago and impoved my swing. I was playing with Callaway clones which were horrible and needed to change clubs. Just got a $300 budget so I checked armour out, based on this reviews and some good comments i heard. Great choice, they are extremly easy to hit (much more easier than my brothers Cobra), great ball flight and straight, i never used my 3 iron before, but with this irons i am confident that the ball will go high straight and long. It toook me some times to adjust tough, but after 27 holes and a couple hundreds balls in the range i can´t be happier with my choice!!!

I just started playing golf about 4 months ago and was borrowing my brother's clubs but recently decided to get a set of my own. I wanted a nice set to grow into and read a lot of the reviews at this site and decided to get some 845s...Boy was that the right decision! These clubs are fantastic, affordable and easy to hit! I highly recommend them!!

What a difference. I recently bought a used set of 845 from a friend. I could not turn down the offer when I saw it outside selling for more. How could you beat 25 dollars. Anyway, I went to play with the clubs, and they are truly forgiving and easy and fun to play with like some of the reviews mentioned. I had check out the reviews before I bought them. I am beginning to enjoy the game alot more. Dont forgo these clubs, they will truly improve your game along with practice of course. I would totally recommend these clubs to anyone. My only concern would be to regrip the clubs since my grips are rather old. But hey, who cares, for now they bring results. I predict lower scores now with the clubs. Will keep you posted.

After not playing golf for over six years, I returned to the game one year ago and purchased a set of 845s oversize. These clubs have a tradional appearance, progressive offset, a substantial cavity back, and set up to the ball very nicely. I had the lie angles adjusted to my swing recently and these sticks are wonderful. They are easy to hit, forgiving, and feel great. I think they just closed these out for $219 but I'm sure sets can still be found brand new. You can probably pick up a set off Ebay for less than $200. You can't go wrong here. Just make sure to purchase the correct shaft flex and have the lie angles adjusted.

I've played golf for 12 years ( the last 3 seriously ) I decided to buy a good set of clubs. I bought a set of 855 silver scots with graphite ghafts. They hit the ball well as long as it was dead nuts and anything off center would vibrate your teeth. I eventually took them back and decided to try the 845's steel shafts ( which is the way to go with irons ) This was the best club i have ever hit. The off center shots you can feel but still get decent yardage. they have amazing back spin and deadly accuracy. I have shaved 12 strokes off my average with these irons alone, before a 100 was the goal. Last year i was hovering at low to mid 90's. This year i am consitantly under 90 and have shot as low as 82!!! i gaurantee you will be satisfied with these clubs. They are under $300 and are as good as a $1000 set unless your a scratch golfer.I also have to give a recommendation on a driver ( this brand not listed in your review section ) NGC golf armor piercing driver holy @#%^!!!!! I hit this driver 30 yards on average than my old driver and 4x as straight. I have hit several drives of 300 yards and many 270-280 range. and i am only 5'4" with this bad boy you dont have to big to become a big hitter.

I picked up a used set of 845s oversize irons on the cheap. i ditched the stock shafts and put in dynamic gold X100's. these iron are accurate and have a nice feel. they don't feel as good as blades, but it's almost as easy to work the ball and they are more forgiving. the shafts give these irons a nice boring trajectory with loads'o'spin.

Well, it's been over six years since I've played a round of golf and I figured time for some new clubs. There's so many choices out there nowadays it's overwhelming. However, with my playing level, oversize, cavity back, and perimeter weighted was narrowing it down. But, there's so much to choose from. So I demoed several iron sets and these felt pretty comfortable and were hitting square. Of course I didn't buy them retail, you can get them for under $300 and for these clubs it's well worth it. Anyway, although Armour was bought by GenX and the stuff is made in China (no offense to China) after a few wings with these and getting used to them, they'll hit straight and far. It's really all about you and your swing, but these are forgiving, affordable, comfortable, and a nice set of clubs. I never got much distance out of my irons (that's what woods are for) so I can't comment much on that, but the play is great. For $300 they're super! A high handicapper will benefit from these, they are a little heavy so take note, but all in all great club for the value.
