I used to have Bilson's and they were good to me. I purchased these fine clubs for Christmas 1999 and they were the best clubs since '86. The only clubs that felt better were my Sam Snead's, with which I won the '86 Masters, British Open, US Open, and more. They hit very long and very forgiving.

Can't say enough about these irons. I can hit all of the X-14s very well and they stop on the green and usually back up. While the price was steep, I feel much better about my golf game now.

FANTASTIC IRONS. I had been playing a blade irons for nearly several years but after not practicing all of the time I had to get a nicer to play iron. X-14 irons are easy to use and go to where you want to hit them. I was on to every green yesterday and scored my best round ever. 77!!!!! You must go get these irons. They are make you feel confident each time you swing them and the results are miraculous!!!!!! Good for Callaway. Good for me!!!!!
Bye bye

Much more accurate and consistent than my previous irons. I get about 10 yards per club more on average than my previous irons (a DCI "clone") with Dynalite Gold R300 w/Sensicore. I just naturally seemed to be able to make solid contact, right from the first swing. Took no time to get used to them. Seems very well suited for players with mid to high handicaps. Would not recommend getting too stiff a shaft with these. Pretty pricey, but I got tired of using my DIY clubs. It's an ego trip, to be sure, but I like the idea of a major brand name, and you pay dearly for the priveledge. On the other hand they feel wonderful and have improved my mid and short game.

Had some experiences of better accuracy but after being tested for loft found that I needed extra loft (clubs were not originally fitted). Had to send back to manufacturer to add 3 degrees of lie loft. Anxiously awaiting return of the clubs. Hit better than other clubs so should do even better.

Customer Service

Sent back to raise loft to 3 degrees. Would suggest that a person be tested before buying for lie loft.

Much more pleasant looking than X-12's.
Just as forgiving, and much better feel. About same distance on mid to long irons as X-12's, but about 10 yards longer on short irons. Got mine with constant weight rifles. You can order these as much as 3 degrees upright. Very nice clubs. I also hit the i3's, but I liked the X-14's better.

Customer Service

Callaway's customer service was very helpful when I called them regarding the specs on their clubs. They helped me with my decision on my shaft selection.

The looks are good and the club is very forgiving. I didn't know what I was missing until I tried this club. It provides very good feedback, and even an off center hit still launches the ball fairly well.

I tried these out at Copelands sports, and was very impressed. The look of them sitting next to the ball gave me a tremendous confidence, and i could smash the ball. Each shot went long straight and high/
