X-14 Rifle 6.0 shafts
Just played the X-14's, and loved them. I currently play Titleist 990's, with the same 6.0 Rifle shafts, but these irons are definitely 10-15 yards longer. I have owned the X-12's, and did not like. Callaway continues to bring out good equipment, and these have excellent feel and control. Similar Products Used: ISI's,981's, 990's,x-12 |

Everything they're advertised to be...and more! Similar performance to the X-12's but with a thinner top line and Long Irons that are a mid/high handicappers dream! Similar Products Used: X-12's, TM LCG's(very nice clubs not as forgiving as the X-14's but can be found for about $325 w/ rifle shafts at a lot of golf shops |

Callaway Big Bertha X-14
I purchased the X-14s with graphite shafts two weeks ago to replace my X-12s which I have been playing for almost a year. I have played 4 rounds with these new clubs. They are the best for me. The X-12s are very forgiving and produce great distance. However, control is not I could hope for. With the X-14s, accuracy is superb from short to long irons. The wedges are better than the X-12s. Overall the X-14s have greatly improved my game. My last round I shot 2 birdies and 5 pars. Similar Products Used: Callaway BB X-12, TM Firesole,Ping I3 |

Very nice irons. Like them better than the i3s and the X-12s. Much more pleasant to look at vs. the X-12s. Thinner top line and a tad smaller. The long irons play about as long as the X-12s, but the short irons are about 10 yards longer. Much better feel with the X-14s. The wedges are also better than the X-12s. I got the constant weight riles with my X-14s and got them 2 degress upright. It took three weeks to receive them. Very nice feel. You cannot go wrong by buying these!! Customer Service I have called their customer service. They are very polite and are willing to work with you. Similar Products Used: X-12s & i3s |

Callaway X-14
Recently purchase the x-14 Callaway irons w/graphite shafts from my pro.my son plays the X-12s and hits em great, so...my pro allowed me to tryout his X-14s for 2 rounds prior to deciding...boy am I glad I tried them out...what a great club. I was afraid the change from my "blade" would be too radical for my game;however, found the x-14s to be not only much more accurate but they had the same great feel as my forgings. It may take some time to get used to the offset but it will be time well spent. I would recommend (in fact I have already) these clubs to golfers regardless of handicap...even my 2 brothers-in-law, Dinky and Farouk. Customer Service Excellent, through my pro. Callaway X-14 irons
I just got the X-14's after two years with the X-12's. Having played 5 rounds, I find that they are as forgiving as my old clubs with more distance. With even my worst swings, the ball seems to stay in play and when I hit the ball well, look out! One small problem. The graphite shaft on the 5 iron started to splinter after two rounds and one stint at the range (off mats). My retailer replaced it immediately, but is a cause of concern. Customer Service Snapped the head of my Callaway driver at the range and it was replaced within a week. I hear that they have changed their replacement policy, however. I purchased these clubs in last year. First several rounds, I had difficulties to hit the ball. Like other reviewer wrote, it was just disaster. I believe it was because of the 'OFFSET' head which is essentially different from the original club, early 90's Ben Hogan. Now I could hit the ball right on the sweet spot. I am get used to 'Offset' clubs, and my shot is becoming more accurate and consistent. I would say the long irons are just greater than any other clubs. I loved my old clubs but Callaway X-14 is another great rifle. Similar Products Used: Early 90's Ben Hogan, Titleist 990 |

These clubs have a large sweet spot and go quite far. There is not a lot of feedback when you hit the club and the club is very light. I'm hitting the 5 iron about 190 and the 9 iron 150, with about 10 yards in between clubs. I do find that my shots go very high and baloon against the wind. I have trouble keeping the ball low against the wind. But that's probably just my swing. The ball is sticking on most greens, even with the longer irons. Similar Products Used: None |

These irons are easy to hit.... the long irons are the easiest i have ever hit. I love the 1 iron i dont need a 3 wood anylonger with that club in my bag. The set is good for a mid to high handicap golfer i am switching to the cleveland to be able to work the ball more with the low irons. I found the 8-pw are inconsistent for me.
