i have owned the ta3 irons for two years and the only complaint i can think of is that they don''t look new any more. i have gained 20 yards on all my irons. some of that gain in distance is because of a better swing but the clubs deserve their credit for giving me the confidence to rip it. the ta3 irons have the best set up of any club out there. they have the forgiveness of an oversized with the looks of a blade. they feel great too, when you hit the sweet spot it feels like your taking a practice swing. miss hits feel like normal shots on other clubs. my wife about killed me but they are worth every penny. i like these irons so much i have recently traded my big bertha woods in for a cleveland driver and 4 wood.

I have found these clubs to be outstanding in almost every regard. The feel and feedback is fabulous. The absence of offset makes alignment a breeze. These clubs are very consistent throughout the set, with distances and trajectories that you can rely on. Spin and ball flight patterns are equally manageable. I rate these clubs as highly as any I have tried (and there have been many). These will be in my bag for a long, long time.

I bought these just as the season was winding down, so I have only played them for about 6 rounds. I have found these irons to be exceptionally accurate. I am absolutley deadly with the PW and use it to chip with great accuracy. My game has improved so much with these irons that recently, I had a horrible day with my driver and still shot low 90s. I also broke 90 for the first time with these irons.

These are the best irons I have ever put in my bag. Since switching to the Cleveland irons, my game has been a lot more consistent than ever. I am hitting irons further and with more control. I would strongly encourage anybody looking to improve their game to purchase a set of these irons.

Customer Service

I have delt with Cleveland golf before and the customer service is great! They are quick to respond and always willing to help you the best they can.

I have already reviewed this product and love them. I am thinking about reshafting them this winter with a X-Stiff shaft and wondering if anyone playing these clubs has any feedback/experience with Rifle 6.5 shafts versus the TT DG S-400s? Any feedback insight would be very helpful. Thanks...

Very good feel. Look great. Heavier headweight feel. Let''s you know when you hit it poorly or well. Easy to work ball left, right, high, low. Fierce spin with soft balls PW through 7 iron. Virtually no offset is great for lining up a shot and enhancing confidence in working ball. Foregiveness is acceptable, toe hits are shorter. Distance: a solid hit with the right shaft produces consistent distances. Longer or shorter than other irons? Who cares? That''s mostly a function of shaft selection. Drawbacks: can''t hit the two iron at all, like it doesn''t have a sweet spot. Chrome is begining to wear a bit on the hitting area of pw through 7 iron no big deal. Overall - an ideal club for consistent swingers who want feedback.

Cleveland is a great company, but I ordered custom clubs, 2* upright and got a mish mash of flat, std and upright clubs. I strongly recommend that you find a good clubmaker and have lofts and li

I am a high handicap golfer, but most of my problems are do to pitching and putting. I''m taking lessons and have made a commitment to improve. I had planned to buy a set of TA5s with Rifle 5.5 shafts when I saw this set on ebay. I couldn''t pass this buy up. They are less forgiving than the TA5s and I planned to sit on them until I improved. I decided to go ahead and play a couple of rounds to see how I would do after hitting them at the range. I love these clubs. Instead of adding fear, they inspire confidence. I used to come up short on greens, but I hit my G.I.R. with these clubs on the third hole I played, a long Par 5. I then proceeded to make a total of five G.I.R. in that round. Previously I never hit a green in regulation. The feel from these clubs is beyond words. Two others in my foursome hit them as well. After which they finished their rounds out of my bag! I have not noticed these clubs to be short, in fact they are 1 1/2 clubs longer than my Ping Eye2 irons. My tendency is to hit shots fat and I did notice a small loss in distance since the ball had such a low trajectory. I was also able to hit a soft draw out of trouble twice!

Customer Service

I had called prior to buying my clubs to see if the Gunmetal irons could be adjusted for lie after the fact. They can''t, the finishing process make the club difficult to adjust w/o damaging the hose

I will admit that these clubs feel sweet when hit flush. However, I find that mis-hits (particularly toe hits) really go nowhere. They come off the club very dead and float out there. I also find these clubs to be about 1/2 club shorter than my other set of irons (981s). Spin is excellent, maybe even a little too much. Can hold greens with any club, but ball will baloon sometimes. I am using TFR 6.0 shafts. Does anyone else have the same problems?

Sometimes it is better to rate a club not after your best round but after one of your worst. I had been too busy to get out and play for some time and as a result I went to play a little bit "cold" a few weeks ago. Despite being out of practice, these clubs felt more comfortable than any I have ever played. Despite being well out of practice with my driving and putting, my iron play, with these clubs, remained the most consistent part of my game. The overall feel of these clubs is very comfortable. They are straightforward in their look and in what they do. I noticed that they were slightly longer than my previous King Cobra II''s but I attribute the added distance to added confidence. Despite the slightly smaller heads, hitting the sweet spot is not that difficult. The feel and consistency with the long irons is particularly appealing. Working the ball, as I am able to anyway, is easier with these than with my prior clubs and others I have tried.

Customer Service

These clubs were fitted for me at a demo day. The Cleveland people were very knowledgeable and responsive to all of my questions.

I have tried a lot of brands and models including Titleist 981''s and 990''s. I tried Ping I-3''s which were very nice. I had King Cobra II''s which were a fine club but not as nice as the TA-3''s.
