A great set of irons for the price I paid. They were only hit with a few times. I didn't get the gun metal ones simply because I couldn't find any used ones in my area. I'm totally happy with the polished look though. Looks very clean in my bag.

Before settling on these, I hit a number of different clubs. Everything from Cobra Gravity Backs, TaylorMade Super Steels, Callaway X12's, Titleist 981's and Titleist 990's. I eventually found out that I wanted to get away from the oversized heads. Obviously, the most similar club to the TA3's that I demoed were the 990's. I couldn't beleive how different yet alike these irons were. They were both very accurate. Wherever I aimed is where the ball went. However, the TA3's were alot easier to hit. My mishits weren't total disasters like they were with the 990's. I, like many others were told to stay away from the 990's and now I know why. They are very difficult to hit good shots with. I myself have never been satisfied hitting Titleist irons or woods. It must be my swing style. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the TA3's. I totally sugguest them to anyone who is looking for control yet a little forgivingness.

I tried many different makes and models and sugguest everyone do the same. Some clubs work better for some people. You just gotta find out which ones work best for you...

Excellent Clubs

I can't believe how long and forgiving these clubs are. I have played cast clubs all my life and will never go back. These forged clubs are great in all aspects. I tried several shafts and settled on S300 Dynmaic Gold with Sensicore, the Rifles felt muted.

These irons are only the second set of irons i have ever used, but even so i can tell you that they are one of the most solid sets on the market. The clubs give a great feel with its shock abosorbing system and they produce a good trajectory giving you distance and control. i am very glad to have bought these irons and at the price i did it was well worth it. these irons have left me with a great fairway game now and i am starting to break par now. I would suggest anybody who is serious about golf to go out and get these irons and they will not be dissapointed

Love these clubs!I had been playing the VAS 792 irons for the past 5 years and wanted to move to somthing that would alow me to work the ball a little more. The VAS 792 is a great club buy the way but they realy only want to hit the ball straght, nit allways a bad thing.Anyway, thease clubs are a great combo of workability and forgivness.
Try them!!!

Let's talk about the new TA3 irons. Form Forged. Soft and responsive. Just look at the clubs sitting on the rack they are beautiful. At address they are every bit a blade, but if you look at the back you will see a slight cavity with excellent perimeter weighting giving you just enough forgiveness so your scores won't suffer. Wonderful feeling at impact and this set has to have the easiest long irons to swing ever. The whole set is delofted a degree so you can hold on to your ego because you will be jacking a seven iron 160 no problem. Only downside is the grips are a slippery version of the tour velvet by golf pride. They are made from the same metal as the Cleveland wedges. 8620 Carbon Steel. They are just as playable as those wedges. These clubs are winners. I have had people come up to me on the range and talk about these like they are the old TA3s. Their major complaint was the lack of feeling in the old irons. A muted feeling at impact. I let them hit these and no one has said anything bad after that. You can't, they are so nice. Do yourself a big favor and try these out. For $599 you can't go wrong.

Customer Service

Very helpful, they seem like a small company.

I have tried a lot of clubs but love these. Go with a forged club. The feel is soft, and if you mis-hit you know it. I have a +1 inch 3 degrees upright. I cannot stress enough to get a custom fit. It has made me a better player. I shot 45 on the front and 35 on the back the first time i used these irons. Stroked a 5 iron 185 into a par 5 for a 5' eagle. Very nice feel on impact. The most asthetically pleasing iron i have see. For $200 less than most forged clubs, you cant go wrong with these.

I've owned these clubs for 4 weeks and love them. I was concerned about a move from cast/graphite to forged/steel, but the transition was easy after hitting one bucket of balls. Clean hits feel like butter. Off centered hits, are surprisingly forgiving. The reduced offset was surpisingly easy to hit. Based upon reviews, I was convinced that I would buy Ping I-3 or Adams GT irons and tried my best to not like the Clevelands. After hitting every club in the shop, I found myself always coming back to the TA-3. (Hit them and you'll know what I'm talking about.) Get the rifle shafts, and you'll like them even more. I've added 10-15 yards on my iron shots, as well as accuracy, and the ability to work the ball quite easily. I cannot emphasize enough the need to get the rifle shafts. It is $80 well spent. They make these clubs simply amazing. The standard S-300 Sensicore muffle the feel considerably. As for the gunmetal, it's simply beautiful.

Customer Service

Generally good service and knowledge of products. Turnaround for clubs is slow at 3 weeks.

These clubs are great for control and when you hit the sweet spot the ball moves the way you want it to. I spent months trying out clubs, and being a left hander, i had a very small selection to choose from. I have never played a forged club before and the difference is definitely there. Sure when you hit it bad it's not as forgiving as the Oversize +'s that I played, but you can work the ball better and get some wicked movement on that ball. For a smaller blade type cavity back it's a great club, not for everyone, but a great club overall.

Very very happy with these clubs. I spent a lot of time wondering if my game was up to a more "blade like club"I was playing quadpro irons with rifle 6.0 shafts hit them fine but was never happy with thier feel. the ta3's play so easy the long Irons are a joy my first round out I was 221 away normally I would play a five wood but I pulled my 3 iron just for fun and fun it was watching my my ball track all the way to the flag landing and stopping about 5 foot away.I found these to be very playable. I think for anyone who has a decent game you will enjoy these clubs.I am playing the S300 with seniscore.

Customer Service

the folks at cleveland are very helpful if you have questions about shafts and what may work best for your game.

I was looking for an iron with a more trditional sive and look, and these were the cheapest I found.I have allways hit irons consistently,so i like the look of smaller faces. if you do not get a great conection, the cleveland VAS(vibration absorbion system)does a sound job of stopping any harsh feelings, so every shot feels good. The faces are very small, and scratch easily if you do not hit the grooves. The irons have minimal offset, so the high handicapper may have problems keepin the mall straight.
I think these irons are best suited for mid to low handicaps.
