I bought these clubs 2 months ago and I was finally able to get on the course last week. I played 3 rounds 40-42 82, 36-38 74, and 38-43 81. Best first three rounds that I ever shot to begin a season with. I owe it all to these clubs. They feel great, center shots are so sweet, as you would expect. Distance is very consistant, even my misses were not so bad that I couldn't scramble to at least make par. And man, do these clubs ever look good. I have hit Taylors, Mizunos, Titleist, Hogans, Armours, and Callaways. These are by far the best not only by the way they play, but also at the cost. I got them at discountgolf.com for $520. Try to buy Hogans or Mizunos at that price new. Did I mention that these clubs look and feel great? Similar Products Used: Taylors, Mizunos, Titleist, Hogans, Armours, and Callaways |

Cleveland TA3 Gunmetal Irons
I was looking for a blade type iron with a very subtle cavity back. I found it. This was the only club that fit the bill, I tried Titleist, Taylor Made, etc. Clubs are somewhat forgiving with great feel. They are very light though, and although this seems to make control easier, some may not like it. Overall they've been fantastic clubs for me. Similar Products Used: Titliest 990. The TA3 is the ultimate game improvement iron. There is no other club out there that gives such precise feedback without penalizing you drastically when out on the course. My ball striking has improved phenomenally since I bought these clubs in July. In terms of feel there is not a club out there that has anything over these, and I've hit them all (every Mizuno, Titleist, Hogan, Macgregor, you name it). And the price of the TA3 is amazing to me for what it offers. Golfs best kept secret! Similar Products Used: Mizuno, Titleist, Hogan, Macgregor, ALL |

Bought this set after extensive testing of the above sets. Found them to be somewhat more forgiving that the rest with the same buttery feel of the Mizuno and Hogan irons. Have the least amount of offset of the group, which really appealed to me. At the price they are offered, the quality and feel of the clubs, has to be one of the best deals available. This is a set of clubs that I can live with for a long time! Similar Products Used: Mizuno Pro II |

These clubs allow some forgiveness, however you can feel it if you hit it bad, mainly off the toe. When hit pure you are definetly rewarded. These clubs feel a lot like my friends titlest 981's, however there a little sharper, so they take more grass. I have the rifle shaft 6.0 on mine, its a little more expensive, but in my opinion its worth the money. All in all these are a great set of irons, and they look and feel fantastic. Very good clubs. By that I mean they are as good as your swing is. No, they won't help you if you hack it, but they give honest feedback, and if you are looking to improve that is what you want. They won't help your game but they will help your swing, which in time will help your game. Not as harsh as blades but same idea. Only complaint I have is that the P Wedge is swing weighted heavier than the rest of the set for some reason. If you only have once a week to play, these arent for you, but if you want true improvement in your swing, check them out. Customer Service CLeveland put in new Rifle shafts for me, they were a bit slow, but did a good job. Similar Products Used: Titleist 962's |

Cleaveland Ta3 forged
These are the first forged Irons I have purchased and to be honest I wasn't looking to buy forged, I had in my mind a new set of the ben hogans but after spending about two months looking at everyting available and and hitting as wide a variety of clubs as I could these just stood out as the the best decision. I am not an extremly low handycap (15) but its an honest one, I have been playing golf now for about three years and have previously owned the Taylor Made LCG's with graphite shafts. They were forgiving but I had very little feedback and no sense of a sweet spot. As well I often fealt as though I was overpowering the graphite shafts. I borrowed a friends Ben Hogan blades just for fun one day and it was an education. You could say "it was the best of times; it was the worst of times." The clubs were unforgiving but after 9 holes I was hooked and the next day my Burners fealt like I was hitting the ball with a wet noodle. Anyway I looked at the hogans the titilist blades and the muzuno blades as well as a host of cavety backs and the the Cleaveland were the perfect fit for me. They are a bit more forgiving than a classic blade, but they have a great feel and feedback that is readable without being harsh. When you hit them pure it is like nothing else I have hit. Distance wise they have added about 5 yards to my swing but I have been able to slow down my rythem without sacrificing disance and in fack gaining accuracy. I am now tracking the ball better and this has given me more confidance in hitting the longer Irons. Heck I even pull out the three iron once in a while. Similar Products Used: ben hoogan |

I have been using these irons for 3 years now and am still impressed. They are the cast models, but I love the feel anyway. You can tell exactly where you hit them and they are quite square, which I love. Draws and fades are easy and distance controll is precise. High handicapps may not like them because there isn't much help, but they are pure and if I hit a bad shot, I don't mind knowing it. Had to add loft to the short irons and check the others because some of them were juiced, but have done that to many of the newer sets... they want you to think your a big hitter I guess.. Great irons, would recomend them to any lower handicap...I'm a 8 and dropping. Similar Products Used: ping, titleist, mizuno, maxfli revs- nice |

I have played these irons about 10 rounds. Overall they are very solid clubs. I am less than impressed by the quality of the chroming. In less than 10 rounds my 7 iron has significant rust in the grooves. I understand that a softer forging will scratch and nick easier than a hard cast club, but this is not right. By comparison my 8 and 6 irons which I hit just as much as the 7 don't have any rust at all. I believe that Clevelands manufacturing quality is suspect. Customer Service I have sent in a complaint and did recieve an e-mail back instructing me to go to my nearest authorized Cleveland dealer to have them send the club in to be repaired. I would expect that they will probably just replace it since they don't have serial numbers on the them. Similar Products Used: None |
