These are simply unbelievable clubs. Not only are they incredibly sweet feeling, but the sense of control is superb. It is so easy to control trajectory - forged blades put the golfer in charge, not the club. No offset, no perimeter weighting, no low center of gravity. These actually let you play golf. Make a good swing and OH MY!! Make a poor swing and know exactly what happened. Feedback is GOOD thing. (Callaway, are you listening?) Rock on Mizuno!

These are easilty the best irons that I have ever used. I am hitting more greens than ever. When you hit the ball clean, no other irons give you the same feel. They look great too.

I have played cast irons all my life. For some reason I didnt think I was good enough for blades. I was ready to buy a set of x 14 pro series. Thank the good lord I hit the 33's. You cant fully understand how good these irons are till you pure an iron shot. These are lethal weapons in the hand of a real player. I would not suggest that any hacker attempt to hit these clubs. They do not reward poor ball stricking. If you can play, these are the sticks for you.

Can't believe people dare to post negative feedbacks about these sticks.

They are simply the best looking and most solid irons I have ever hit in my life!

I have played with MP-29's for the last 6 years, great clubs, best ever, well, second best. The 33's are incredible blades. Orgasmic sweet spot, softer feeling than the 29's. Slightly higher trajectory than the 29's, more noticeable in the long irons, for me, this is a positive. Thinner topline than the 29's although I would not say the topline is thin compared to most classic blades ie Apex PC's. The reason I play golf is the feel of a pured shot. Period. These clubs produce the best pured shot feel I've ever experienced.

First of all kudos the the manageable swingweight of these clubs they are perfect. Second, not much is said about the U-grooves of these babies. We're now unafraid to take more club more, hit it easy, and fire flag high b/c we know that the ball will check. I use a distance ball and it still stops on a dime. And this makes all the difference in confidence and, eventually, scoring. When you have a set of irons that you know will "listen" to you, you're much more commited to your shot and ultimately produce a better strike at the ball. The MP33s are playable, beautiful, and soft to the ears and touch. I'm somewhat of an equipment freak who likes to buy and sell clubs to see what's the latest on the market but with these I've passed up on a few already. This is a keeper.

The Mp-33's are by far the best irons I have ever played. I have played the 14's or 29's since I was 13...33's are infinitely better. The sole has been redesigned for crisper shallower divots. (29's took painfully large divots) Their trajectory is not as lows as the 29's but lower than the 14's (perfect height) In terms of executing golf shots intended (A.K.A. workability), no other club does it better because with no offset these clubs feel like an extension of your body. And their aesthetic beauty is umatched by any other club. Plus in terms of performance, look at what the #1 iron on the proffessional tours is. Mizuno does not have a large paylist of Pro's, (I think about 10) yet a majority of proffessional players play them b/c they are the best. Do you know how much equipment we get thrown in our faces) with offers to pay for playing their stuff? Unbelievable...BEST BLADES EVER!

Customer Service

This is a follow-up to a 5 Star review I gave a couple weeks ago. I love these irons more every single time I take them out. They are not difficult to hit if you are a decent player.

These things are like taking aim with a sniper rifle. I could hit shovels like Pings and Callaways fairly straight, but with the MP-33 I can take dead aim.

They are smooth as silk and seem almost as long as my old X-14's (and that's saying allot).

Try these clubs out, I think you will like them.

Looked at the MP-33’s when they were announced. What a beautiful club but could I hit a blade? (I played Callaway GBB, X14 and Ping ISI-I’s over the last few years). Tested Comp EZ and Hogan Apex Plus and purchased the Comp EZ based on better forged feel and stronger lofts. I hit the Comp EZ’s a mile (great club, unbelievable distances) but the shaft was a little to stiff (Rifle 6.0) especially on the short irons and wedges.

Took an MP demo to the range and to my surprise I found that I could hit these almost as well as the Comp EZ although the MP long irons were about a club shorter with a higher ball flight. MP was much more accurate than anything I’d ever hit (like throwing darts at the flag…the ball just will not veer off line!). I also loved the smaller clubhead, thinner top line, better setup and better look of the MP vs. the EZ.

Sold the EZ’s and purchased the MP with DG S300 shafts plus the MP Series wedges. Great balance between clubhead and shaft….feels so smooth…just right for my swing. Had the lofts strengthen 2* on long irons and 1* on 7,8,9 which got the distance back into Comp EZ range (did not change PW which is perfect). The loft change did somewhat negatively effect the feel, which is not as nice as standard but still very, very good.

Took some time getting used to the heavier clubhead of the MP’s. Adjusted my swing tempo and focus (MP’s will not tolerate a lazy swing) now I love these clubs! Very rewarding on good swings with appropriate slap and feedback on bad swings. Gaining distance gradually as I get more swings and better timing. All of this plus I have the best looking clubs! Only downside is that they are easy to scratch from a patchy lie due to soft forged material. To keep the dings down to a minimum I highly recommend iron head covers for these beauties.

I’m your typical equipment bug, but I look forward to keeping these (at least until Mizuno comes out with the next generation blade!). Now I’m looking for a deal on a 300S….

Thanks to all for the preceding reviews!
