TaylorMade 300 Irons

TaylorMade 300 Irons

DESCRIPTION

From TaylorMade: "The traditional look comes from the thin topline, mirror chrome finish, straight leading edge and minimal offset. The modern conveniences of optimal weighting and center of gravity are achieved through TaylorMade's exclusive trapezoidal cavity pad, which is placed behind the impact zone to maintain ball velocity and preserve feel. Like the 320 and 360 irons, the long irons in the Forged 300 set have negative bounce to help create lift, while the short irons have positive bounce to prevent ballooned shots."

The forged 300 series irons are probably the best forged irons on the market right now. These are great for shot making and accuracy as well. For someone who wants to step up to a forged club but does not want a full out blade like the mp 33''s, this is the club for you.

These are great irons. I had to switch from my X 14s because I couldn''t feel a thing when I made contact. Some people like that, I couldn''t stand it. I found a great deal on ebay and thought I would try these out. I shoot in the low 90s and was worried that these clubs might be too difficult to hit. These clubs are wonderful to hit. There is a slight off set, and the head is a little bigger than standard. The feel of these clubs can''t be described. Once you make solid contact you won''t want to hit anything else. And it isn''t hard to make solid contact either. These clubs are very forgiving for forged irons (blade/cavity back). They have great distance and (as I said) amazing feel and are simple and attractive clubs. They inspire confidence at address and will lower your score. They are not game improvement irons, but they will make you improve your game, and punish you if you don''t (but not too severly). You have to work on your swing to benefit from these clubs. The 300s are not for the hackers, but if you have a smooth swing, take the game of golf seriously, and want to improve these irons are perfect. You can find a great deal on ebay if you''re wait long enough.

Brilliant clubs! im only 16 years old have these are my second set of irons. Before spending alot of money on my set i did all my hmk, tried so many clubs but the 300''s and the 990''s were far above the rest. So then i had a problem on my hands, the 990s or the TM 300 irons, well to overcome this problem i took both sets out on the course! thank god i did that, the 300 series are alot better iron, far more forgiving and allowed me to shape shoots better! a brilliant club that can be custom fitted, would strongly recomend for mid - scratch golfers!

Customer Service

Very good, lots of options with custom fitting!

i''m a big believer in making sure that when you decide on any kind of equipment you do your homework, go to range and ask to try demos and try different shats / flexes etc., and i also feel that when you place that club down on the ground and behind the ball that i looks appealing to the eye. i did these things before i decided on these irons. i must say that these irons are truly outstanding ,i play standard lie and loft with the fifle 6.0 shaft/ these forged clubs have great feel and gave me the trajectory that i was looking for, the ball takes off like a plane and climbs to that perfect height and land soft.taylormade has made a great set of irons and believe me i have played alot of sets of irons over last couple of years and i found a home with taylormade. remember practice ,practice, practice, and if you get a chance take lessons and work on you grip and impact position and enjoy the greatest game around.

Customer Service

i have ordered other golf equipment through golfbargains.com and have never had a problem , they are always great to deal with.

These are great irons. Went to purchase 320 series, but after testing the clubs at least 5 times, the 300 rose above. The provide great feedback, very accurate and good length. The rifle shafts are really outstanding. On top of all this, these clubs look great. Good job TM!

These clubs rock. They feel like butter, look fantastic, and the distances are real consistant. Play the irons that won the U.S. Open and go get these babys! I know in some places they can get expensive but just shop around.

The two reviews from the same guy who lives in the "Great White North" are total BS. I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, but do us all a favor and lay off the last 10 Molson's before your next two posts and 'eh hoser...take off!

You want to know the truth??? These clubs rock. I have played golf for over 20 years on a pace of about one round a month. My index has stayed right around 14 for the last five-eight plus years. Since I switched to playing with my new 300's I have never played better and have lost over 4 strokes and it's headed lower next month.

The weighting is the best I have felt in a club. Mis-hits are not bad at all as you lose just a 1/2 club in distance. Work it both right to left or a fade it with ease. Very very accurate very sweet to hit and to play with.

Do yourself a favor with any club you choose and get them custom fit. If you buy these clubs, you will not be let down. Worth every cent. I would recommend to anyone looking to improve on a sub-18 handicap.
