This is the best sand wedge i have ever used. The distance control is excellent from the fairway, sand, or pitching around the green. The 900 model always looked better to me(a more rounded look-I own the LB 56*), but this club is far better for me. It has caused me to purchase the 49*, and 53* versions. I highly recommend the 56*.

Oh wow. I like the look of this putter, and it feels even better than it looks, and it is very tough to beat the looks of this wedge. It is even priced at a low price compared to wedges at this level. I have had it for about 3 weeks and it is already starting to rust, and i love that look. It feels as if you are taking a hot knife through warm butter. You dont even know you hit the ball. A+++

What can I say that the other 111 reviews have not? I bought this wedge from the second hand rack in a desperate attempt to replace my existing usless wedge. What A difference!!! Like day from night. No more tinned or fat shots (well almost), consistant distance and I use it for every shot onto the green. What price can you put on the confidence of knowing that within say 60 yards, that your next shot will be a putt! If you're having problems with your wedges you've got to try this one.

Love the gunmetal finish. This the most consistent club I have. I can hit it high, low, whatever. I chip iwth it 90% of the time. Cleveland makes the best. I have a FF 900 Lob wedge also. Ilike it too. But not as much as my SW.

I bought today the 60 degree gunmetal wedge while up for a practice session at my course(that credit card just slipped out). I was looking at all the pro players and doing some research be4 of course (being not a rush buyer)where it seems only 2 wedge brands exist that are worthy and that is Cleveland or Titleist. Anyway clevland it was and i ditched my powerbilt which was 1 inch longer and instantly fell in LOVE. This wedge looks, feels, performs like all the other reviewers have said on this site. Its a dream. Having a specialist club in my bag such as the Cleveland i think makes one FOCUS more on one whats doing. Make no mistake a bad chipping, pitching ,full swing technique will be found out.But if you have a sharpish short game it will only get better with one of these babys.

I was shopping for a good lob wedge and I came across the Cleveland wedge. Being a beginner, price was a big selling point. I wanted a quality wedge at a good price. And when I saw the price it was a major selling point. I went out to hit with it and it gave me great height and lots of spin. By playing it, I know why it's one of the top wedges on tour. If you're looking for one of the best wedges, at a great price, this is it. I know that Golfsmith does do price matching, so what have you got to lose? I don't think that the 59.99 price is on the Roger Dunn website, but I know it's in the superstore.

Wonderful wedge, don't know why I waited so long to purchase one. The look of the gunmetal just oozes confidence as you stand over the ball. I even feel confident enough to open up the club face for some real nice flop shots. This is the softest feeling wedge I've ever hit, and you can literally see the backspin on the ball as you hit it. High and soft, what more could you ask for? My only greivance is the grip. Granted its not a bad grip, just a little coarse for my likings, I'll probably get a nice soft Winn grip for it. But hey, your call on that.

8 hndcp. This club consistent on full fairway shots, distance & trajectory. Can make the ball check or release as desired. Great feedback from head on all full shots, a little less from restrained shots. Cuts through rough nicely. Playing mostly on firm turf, club pinches the ball cleanly, no concerns of leading edge bounce. Firm sand, leading edge & good weight let club slip nicely with face wide open. Soft sand, same confidence, weight helps carry the club through. Look and feel will please anybody, I think this is the perfect 56deg wedge for 5-15 handicapper.

Customer Service

Customer svc very helpful describing the feel of the 56deg 588 and an older 56deg BeNi. Was able to take both to range and pay close attention to characteristics cstmr svc described as I hit them.
