There is no better ball out there than the ProV1. Those of you who can''t seem to spin this ball must have 50 mph swing speeds. If the greens you are playing on are reasonably soft Prov1''s stop and bite just fine, with chips or full shots. Why do you think that Titleist came out with the ProV1* ball that has a lower trajectory and spins less? These are far and away the best balls out there. There are a few nearly as good but none better.

This Ball is a horrible golf ball. Don''t buy it. Sure this ball is long off the tee but the spin is crap. There no spin around the greens. You can never make a chip shot stop. With the short irons the balls seems to ballon in the air so the yaradages are always different. Try the Precept Ls. Titleist should be ashamed to make the Pro V 1

Up to now, my favorite ball was the Strata Tour Pro. Now that the prices on the Pro V1 are more reasonable, decided to give it a try and am glad that I did. Have played several rounds with the "improved" V1 and it is very long (+10 yards) and straight off the tee. The "Drop and Stop" characteristic also provides good short game control. Durability is excellent for a ball that offers this level of performance. Well done Titleist!

Played this ball for a while and thot that it was great ball. However, the price put me off and i decided to use the NXT tour (same characteristics). Recently, i got hold of some used ProVs and played them together with the NXT tour and felt that it is a more superior product. I am convinced that it is well worth the money u pay for them. Best ball bar none.

I have tried many balls out there and this has got to be my best ball. I don''t have a hard swing but the the ball really goes far. I''m getting at least 10 more yards off the driver. The ball holds the green well and putting has a great feel to it. Prices seem to be dropping a bit but there are Pro V practice and X-outs available now and are cheaper than the regular V1 The V2 is out but I have yet to try them, can''t wait..

First, I have just read many of the reviews in this section and started to laugh at what I have exposed to. First most of the weekend golfers can use Ultra''s or DT spins ect. and never notice a change in their games. For those of you debating the merits of this ball or that, get a grip, if you do not earn a living at this wonderful game who cares. The Pro VI is a very nice ball. I hit it the same as my Statas or Ultra Balta''s I play. I still hit my drive 290 plus and shot my usual 80. I played the crap Ultra''s the other day and shot my first 72. First its not he ball so much but who''s swing-n'' the sticks. Great ball for those who can spend $ 50.00 bucks a dozen. If your''e a teacher like I am forget it. The Strata is a cheaper version. All in all a great ball if you can afford it. For most of us the Ultra or stratas of the world will do just fine. P.S. who care if DL, or PM plays the ball---I just wish I had their swings!!!!!

Look ... lets get real ... nothing is going to give you 30 to 50 yards ... I know that ... I bought the hype. I was already hitting the ball 250 - 300 yards. Another 30 to 50 yards would have put me in the 280 (short drive) to 350 yard (long drive) range. Didn''t happen. For those who it did congrads... My scores did stay about the same.... clubs selection about the same. Don''t waste your money. Maxfli Rev''s are about the same but much cheaper. If you just have to hit a TITLEST .. (you know pro image)its your money. It is a good ball but way over priced.

OK, I broke down and bought some. People, save your money. This ball may be long, but it doesn''''''''t spin. I did a head to head against a New Precept extra spin, and it was too close to call on distance, but the Precept spun better on the greens. Come on! And to think the Precept only costs $24 a dozen!! Don''''''''t BUY into the hype. Play a $25-30 ball, and feel good about it. There are plenty to choose from. Ttileist wins the the advertising war hands down!!

Having heard the hype I was pleasantly surpirse to see these in the proshop and had to have a go. Right from the first tee shot I was impressed. 330 metres (360yds) later I played a 7 iron into the 500 metre (550 yd) par five. The rest of the orund didn''t dissapoint. Plays like no other ball to date. Sure they cost a little more but it''s well worth it PLUS I played a whole round and the ball still looks brand new - no scuffs or cuts.
