This is a very good all around ball. Distance is equal to most distance balls but with a nice soft feel, putts extreemly well. Similar Products Used: All Titleist. |

Played them 12 rounds now and wow. First it only added 5 to 10 on my drives to around 255 or so but talk about long(yes 255 is long for most that are honest) and nice ball flight very little spin(will work great even for high handicappers cuts sidespin ie slice). And very nice feel around greens not much back spin but stops dead. Oh and it is the most rugged of all Titliest balls still playing the first sleeve, so price is not so bad they last. Putting very true have made alot of long putts latley. Now I still play with steel shafts driver and irons so the added distance has to be the ball. RECOMMEND FOR ALL HANDICAPPERS EVEN HIGH this ball is great oh if you are a high handicapper when water is present have some Titliest DTs it dose hurt to see a $4.75 ball in the water:) Similar Products Used: None |

Titleist Pro V-1
The Pro V1 is a good ball, as are Titleist's other balls (i.e. the Professional and Tour Balata). Although there may be more distance with the Pro V1, such results are negligible. In addition, the ball's feel is not quite as good as either the Professional or the Tour Balata. These factors may persuade interested golfers to buy Titleist's other balls which come at a considerably lower price. Basically, consumer hype and the buzz on tour exceeds the playability of this ball. If you're searching for a miracle, get a Callaway ERC II driver, not a dozen Pro V1's. I PLAYED THE TITLEIST SIDE BY SIDE THE MAXFLI REVOLUTION 100 AND IT TOTALLY LET ME DOWN. I DROVE THE REVOLUTION 25 YARDS FARTHER THEN THE PRO V1. 10 TO 15 YARDS SHORTER ON THE PAR 3'S WHEN THE REVOLUTION HIT THE GREEN. WHATS UP WITH THAT. I DONT KNOW IF U HAVE TO BE A POWER HOUSE TO HIT THIS BALL OR NOT. IT DOES PUT WELL THOUGH , IS PRETTY DURABLE AND HAS GOOD FEEL. I WONT LEAVE THE REVOLUTION FOR THIS BALL THOUGH.THATS FOR SURE. I was hesitant to switich to these in the middle of the spring golf season. I loved the Professionals, and didn't mind the Tour Prestiges; distance was never a main concern for me. However, now that I have switched I love the extra club of distance this ball gives me. It is firm off the tee, but always lands real soft. I am very happy with my wedge play(something that I was worried about with the V1). The firm cover has a very consistant feel that is addictive after awhile. If you play a wound ball, swallow your pride and try it. This is the best low handicap ball on the market. Similar Products Used: Professional, Tour Presitge |

I have exclusively, to this point, played the Titleist Pro. Not any more! The Pro V1 had better distance off the tee, and excellent drop and stay on iron shots. The most remarkable features of this ball is the feel around the greens, ie...chipping and putting. Until Titleist comes out with something even better, this is my ball. WHAT A GREAT BALL I HAVE BEEN USING THE SAME BALL FOR 3 ROUNDS NOW. I AM GETTING MORE DISTANCE OF THE DRIVER AND NOT SACRIFICING SPIN INTO YHE GREENS. I USED TO PLAY WITH PROS BUT THESE ARE BETTER AND THEY DONT CUT UP AS MUCH AS THE PROS DID. YES THEY ARE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE BUT NOT A LOT AND IF YOU CONSIDRE HOW DURABLE THESE ARE THEN THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY.THIS BALL IS ALSO AGOOD BALL FOR THE MID HANDICAPPER AS WELL. This is an excellent ball! I love the feel of the ball at contact. It has a great feel on the green. It has great control but still has great spin when needed. The only drawback is the paint scratches off very easily just from normal use. This is my favorite ball and i recommend it for every type of golfer. Best ball I've ever played. Longer off the driver by 20 yds, though not the irons. Soft and durable - even the cart path marks aren't bad. Way too expenive, but can you blame Titlest? Supply & demand. Similar Products Used: Lady Precept, Callaway |

This is an outstanding ball in every respect. Not withstanding the high price, and the subsequent sinking feeling when one gets lost, it is easily the best ball in the premium ball arena. It is very hot and high with long clubs, yet it really sits down on the green. In fact, on fast, receptive greens, I have had to make a significant adjustment from 50 yds in because it just doesn't go too far once it finds the putting surface. I've markedly improved my long iron game because of the high flight. I have introduced it to about 20 or so players at my club and the only problem we have now is, when we are ready to play "Wolf", we have to make sure everyone has their ball marked, because we are ALL playing Pro V1.
