I played 18 holes with a Pro V1 yesterday. Afterwards I thought the ball was untouched but I was able to find a small scuff on it.

These balls drove long and straight (like a distance ball); stopped as quick on a green as any other ball I have seen (like a soft balata) and I liked the feel they had when putting (also like a balata but they don't seem to be able to be hit out of round).

For me this is an excellent combination of positive characteristics from several different types of balls. I think there are a couple of other top level balls that can compete with them but these are balls that deserve to be rated very high and if their characteristics work with your game they are worth a try.

I give them only four stars in value rating because I think all such balls are over priced.

wow! these balls are longer than hp distance, and spin like tour balatas! i spun back a 6 iron. the only downside is the price. too expensive to use normally, but you can bet that ill be using them when playing for $$$ or in a tournament.

I have played with the Professional 90 for about two years and thought it was the best ball for me. The lower trajectory and feel are its best assets. However, these new pro v1s have the trajectory, feel and about 15 extra yards off the driver. I played the two balls side by side all day. The difference in length gets less noticable and all but disappears with midirons. From there, I could not tell a difference between the two. For all you diehard Professional users, try this new ball and you won't go back.

Those balls are fantastic! They feel a lot like the Tour Accuracy, but I found them a little longer and easier to control around the greens.

I don't know if golfers who have tried this ball have heard but this ball is not recommended for cold weather. Many pros who have used it said that this ball does not play well in the cold. So many poor reviews could be due to the temperature, not the ball itself.

I finally tracked down a dozen of these balls today and played them. They are pretty good but way tooooo much hype it performed pretty good though to my standards gained 5 yards off my driver so with this ball I was hitting it about 287-293 today. Spins as much as you would expect from a tour level ball and putts true

This ball is slightly firmer than the Professional but it is about 5-10 yards longer and much more accurate. It spins less with each club down the set, which translates into a nice high, controlled ball flight.
