This is a great ball. The rumor is if you hit them on the seam they go even farther and if you hit them opposite of the seam they spin more. The jury is still out on the rumors. But this ball does go farther. I am a big hitter and this ball puts me in places I have never reached. It has less spin off the driver which means more control. I think they also spin a little less than Titliest Professionals but they are consistant. They also putt with a nice feel. Are they expensive? I pay 44$ a dozen at a chain retail sporting store Customer Service I play Titliest 962 irons. When I got them I had trouble with my 3 & 9 iron it seemed as though something was wrong with the lofts the distances were strangely quite short on these clubs only. I sent these 2 clubs back and they returned them 2 weeks later. They said the lofts were fine. But strangely they now went the proper distance. I know they tweaked them. I don't know why they didn't admit to it, but I love the clubs now. Similar Products Used: Every so called preformance ball from Nikes to Callaways and everything in between. |

I have played the Professional off and on since it came out and always thought that was the best until the Pro V1. The ball explodes off the driver and feels great off the irons. It clicks just like the Professional around the green and seems more durable too. I rarely have bought the hype about equipment. I have only bought one titanium driver that is now 6 years old, but this ball is fantastic. I give it 5 for overall and a 4 for value (at 56/dozen it will have to come down sometime). Similar Products Used: Titliest Professional, Wilson SmartCore Balata, Strata |

Pretty long off the tee. If you position the ball right, you can spin it more or if you position it another way, you get more distance. Nice ball. Spins well into the green and stops on a dime. Similar Products Used: Name it! |

Awesome Ball!!! This ball rockets off the driver and is long off the irons as well. They spin like no other and have a nice feel (not too hard, not too soft). Great distance, plenty of spin, and a buttery feel off my 990s. More durable than other tour quality balls too. My new ball of choice. Customer Service Acushnet has great service. Played with this ball after asking total stranger on the first tee what he thought of it. He gave me one and I played with it for 17 holes. I am sold! At the end of the round, I showed it to the guy and it didn't have a mark on it. It has everything! Distance, control, trajectory, spin, feel and durability. I think that the ball should be a lot softer than what it really is and should have a lot more spin. I used it because a friend of mine said that they were really long but I hit one and I hit it the same distance that I normally do. There is a really good ball called staff smartcore balata.... I think this ball is well worth the money considering i only pay 39$ for a dozen. Don't listen to all those people talking about lining the ball up a certain way on the tee to gain more distance, it's all a bunch of crap. I was truly impressed by the distance, feel, and durability of this ball. Only set back is don't play this ball in the wind because it stay's up in the air for a long time when it's not windy out. Overall the best ball on the market! Similar Products Used: Strata Tour Ultimate and Tour Pro. |
